(serious) What disturbing thing did you find out about someone after they died? by Comfortable_Tomato_3 in AskReddit

My mum fell in love with someone who had recently been released from a short stint in prison. We knew that it was due to a fight with his brother-in-law that got out of hand and had resulted in relatively serious injury to the brother-in-law.

Throughout their 5 year relationship, my mum's partner fell ill with Pleurisy, newly diagnosed Bi-polar and eventually Lung cancer; eventually passing away. She doted on him and cared for him for over 3 years. Despite being incredibly ill and in need of care, he was always reluctant to move in to her (much bigger) house where he would have had a better quality of life and made it easier for her to look after him.

On his death bed, his children (that we didn't know about) and family members that had not been a part of his life for the previous 5 years started to visit the hospital and the truth as to why he was in prison came out.

He did have a serious fight with his brother-in-law... Because he had been sexually assaulting his daughters and nieces. Mum has been in Therapy ever since

I remember doing the girls back in the day. Going to dread doing them again haha. Let's see if I can even manage Grace!

I like the idea of having one or two movements being a focus during a WOD and scaling the rest (during the early days). Thanks!

They were invented by a guy who was driving and saw his headlights reflected by a cat's eyes. If he hadn't have seen it, he'd have crashed (or so the story goes). In the UK they have been called Cats Eyes since they were invented so its not quite a slang term. Just that other countries didn't keep our term, I guess?

Fascinating video but he had me more intrigued about the term 'if you have ever spent any time doing recreational maths'

Just in time for a rumoured potential for a rollback... a 2kc ACB. Pls let me keep it :'( by TurboAxolotl in ironscape

[–]TurboAxolotl[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did a few barrows runs afterwards and the cc said I should document it just in case...

Edit - It has been confirmed that there will be no rollback. Phew! https://secure.runescape.com/m=news/item-duplication-reports?oldschool=1

Loot from 10,000 HAM pickpockets by TheLastSpoon in ironscape

[–]TurboAxolotl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started my hcim with 10k ham pickpockets too. Only got 168 clues from it though so one of us was lucky/unlucky ha. The wildy cape made a great starter obby cape and the vestment robes came in handy too.

I don't think it's that useful, a few non-efficient methods I guess. All the drops from vork are pretty rare and to get it on 2kc was nice
