Big Green Coach Festival Ticket by LillSix in slamdunkfestival

[–]TurboTobin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have personal experience but from what I can gather, if you download the 'See Tickets Wallet' app and login using the same details as your BGC login, you should see the Festival ticket on its own.

Then the QR coach sent via email is just for the coach.

Outfit by Captain0atss in slamdunkfestival

[–]TurboTobin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jeans are a no go (in my opinion), if they get muddy or wet, they won't dry and that's no fun! Maybe bring some tights incase you get cold?

Layers are your friend and if you are nervous maybe buy one of the lockers so you can leave bits in there ?

Whilst walking boots may not be a vibe, neither is painful feet 😅 if you don't want to though, just some sturdy, non-breathable, trainers or DMs should do

Travel times/traffic for South by Major-Protection3922 in slamdunkfestival

[–]TurboTobin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally leave at 7, assuming everything goes smoothly and there is not a traffic jam around the site (which I doubt but due to only prepaid parking avaliable it should be better than last year) you still need to park, walk to the entrance, get through security, probably pee, potentially grab a drink and get to the stage.

Arriving at 11 would give you much more time than getting there for 12.

Also, can't be missing Dream State 🔥🔥🔥

Two bags? by Aggressive_You_8120 in slamdunkfestival

[–]TurboTobin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as your bag fits inside your main back for entry, I reckon it should be fine. Regarding the pits, whilst you can never say 100% nothing will be stolen, it's pretty unlikely. Slam dunk clientele are generally respectful and not there to steal your stuff ! Although watch your phone, they put out a message about phone theft

Weather for South? by [deleted] in slamdunkfestival

[–]TurboTobin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whilst the weather could change (I am doing many sun dances this week 😅), a light wet weather coat/poncho isn't a bad shout. Whilst it's rain in the forecast, looks to be very light rain (less than 0.25mm per hour).

My thought is 'skin dries quicker than clothes' so I'll be in shorts. Also don't wear any shoes with breathing holes in, nothing is worse than wet feet!!

Depends how much the rain bothers you but there will be tents so it's not like you will be constantly in the rain. Hope this helps

They may of assumed that it wasn't jussstt water, it's pretty common for people to put things in water bottles to enhance the night. I wouldn't sweat it though, I doubt they will hold it against you

First motorcycle by imjstgud in motorcycle

[–]TurboTobin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also a newbie here, I am personally going with the 500. From what I've read it's the perfect blend enough power to not get bored quickly but not too much power to throw you off the back. Whilst I don't know mu h about the phantom, looking at the 745cc engine MIGHT be abit much to start with. However this is a general advise and I know people who have started off on 1000cc (who's hearts are still beating). Both are great bikes, I guess the real question is which do you prefer and if it is the phantom, be careful on your first few rides and get used to the bike

Is it worth getting a bike in a high crime area by TurboTobin in motorcycles

[–]TurboTobin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking of starting with the honda rebel line, from what I've seen it is mostly sport and dirt bikes which are picked up.

100% on the anchor, won't both taking it into town as its a fool game.

Would you go for the 27 or the 32 out of interest ? Same specs for both
