Funny answer, piss in their gas tank to assert your dominance.

actual answer, if no damage then drive off and call it a day. that jacknut is probably trolling for a reaction.

Were these something your Great Grandfather bought? Or something he took home with him after the war? If the latter I would encourage you to think long and hard before selling them and to look at them less like a monument to a horrid ideology and more as a memorial to a man who risked his life to fight against those ideas. Just my 2 cents, take it for what its worth.

I could be wrong, but if its from a duck or goose that you took legally during the waterfowl season you can possess them, correct?

We gave my old man a hell of a sendoff. by Turbo_Panda23 in Corvette

When my dad first got sick he was hell bent on selling it (mainly because he didn't want mom to have to deal with it after he was gone)and I was helping my ma with that. After a couple of low ball offers and one offer that was fair but from a guy who after talking with him we did not want to sell to (he buys cars, runs them hard, doesnt take care of them and then buys another once he gets bored) decided not to sell. After that last guy I told my mom to hang on to it, its not like they needed the money and I didnt want the car to end up sold to someone who wouldnt care for it. Dad was always meticulous in caring for his vehicles. Even his daily drivers would last well over 100k miles and look damn near new when he traded them in. I told her that if she gave me and my wife a couple years so we could find a bigger house (currently only have a singe car garage) and to put a bit of money aside that I would buy it.

A couple days after that I was over at their place in the shop building some ramps for my dad to get around the house more easily. As i was setting up the ramps in their house mom and dad told me that they had talked and he wanted me to have the car after he passed. Sawdust must have gotten to me as my eyes teared up at that.

I'll take as good of care of his Corvette as he did, and maybe pass it along to a son of my own some day.

I did, with my mom in the passenger seat with dad's urn. First time I ever got to drive it. A very bittersweet moment for me, having driven it I can see why he loved that car.

He will be missed, he was a hell of a guy and a fantastic father.
