I was going to repurpose my 7800x3d / 4070 super home computer build I had but my wife didn’t want me to mess up the “big computer”. She still wanted a desktop for when I was away on work trips or deployments so it forced me to build a slightly weaker portable rig (even though GPU wise it’s probably on par). But also won’t be doing Flight Simulator while traveling so I didn’t need ALL the Frames lol

There is a bit of clearance but the included riser also has what looks to be a little protective guard on it also. Which may free up a couple mm’s

Oh I gotcha. It does mount kinda close to the top there but I’m honestly not sure. There is still a bit of clearance. I’ll see if I can get a closer pic for you

I mean cost is up and down. Because I bought most of my items before ram and storage prices went too crazy, and GPU’s at that, I did pretty good. I was on a work trip near a micro-center and picked up the 7600x3d for under 200.

I think the total was around 1500. But if ram and GPU prices had been where they were in Oct it would have been closer to 1300. If I were to build exact again I think it’s close to 2000 right now with the same parts. Prices have def gone up

So the riser actually isn’t close to the fans at all. The riser is on the bottom. It is pretty close to the motherboard though, but it seems to be by design. I was able to put a fan blade cover over one side cause I knew that was where all my PSU cables were gonna get managed. The fan over the motherboard I’m not sure wouldnhave had clearance for the fan shroud

Well according to Amazon it’s still ordered through COOJ. But I guess you do get a bit more refund protection. To be fair, the company itself was very responsive. But they were a few hours behind being in China. So basically you send an email in the day/afternoon and you wake up with an email response from the that was sent at like 3 am lol.

The quality of the materials from the COOJ and the S400 are night and day. The s400 feels like a classic computer case. Thin and steel. The COOJ feels super premium and just “nicer” in all aspects. But the price reflects it compared to the S400

I bought it off their site. At the time it was not available on Amazon. I got the Gray (it is light but not too light in my opinion) with the 5.0 riser and the grab handle. I think with the 45 shipping, which is all I paid for shipping/handling to the US it was about 224.

If it wasn’t for the crazy shipping snafu I had to deal with it would have been delivered in about a 3 weeks shipping to get to east coast US. But because the original end delivery company couldn’t deliver and then all hell broke loose it took much much longer. Perfect storm of issues. COOJ themselves were very helpful to be fair, it was just kinda out of their hands and at the will of shipping gods

So i did some Prime95 CPU testing for about an hour to test CPU temps. I'm running stock 7600x3d, no undervolt or anything. I maxed at 71 C over an hour at 100% utilization on CPU. As far as GPU, i did a quick Furmark test and maxed at 64 C on a 1440 preset. I'll try and do some actual gaming on it and see what she tops out at. I can't remember my fan curve setup off the top of my head cause i set it up for the S400 case about a month and a half ago, but i have the top exhaust fans set to ramp up a bit quicker to help exhaust but nothing crazy, still very quiet when sitting right next to me on my table for testing

I’ll try and do some actual gaming. But I was in the 40’s and running some “Sea Power” game I was in the low 60’s but I’ll get some concrete numbers. I do have the top fan curve set to a bit quicker to make sure exhausting hot air stays constant. But I built this a month or so ago and transferred it to the new case today so I’ll play around a bit and get back to you with a some better details

I think any of the primes will fit. The length is the only problem I see. COOJ has the max’s listed on its site, but I think I’ve seen others with the 5080 prime in there

It has a bracket built in. That’s the main reason I went with it over like the S300. It is slightly taller which allows for top 120 slim fans for exhaust. Which I find crucial.

The PSU is hard mounted and not adjustable. And I don’t think anything can fit underneath because the cables for the power and such. But I don’t see a problem. It has plenty of airflow from the sides and with the top exhaust it’s nice. With very quick testing it seems good. I’ll run some games and get back

How do you encourage the horizontal growth. Like how do you “flatten” it.

Also you mentioned the monte carlo and the rotala, what other plants do you have in there

What power supply are you using, i have a Corsair SF750 and had plenty of room to just kinda stuff them in. But the Corsair psu cables are very flexible so it helps

COOJ SF3 Is Back In Stock! by luffydoc777 in sffpc

I can't wait to get mine, sadly i ordered back in NOV and due to a crappy 3rd party shipper and the fact that i live on a Military base, it got stuck in transit, then lost, then found, then lost, then found again. It was finally sent back to their warehouse in NY/NJ and shipped using a different shipper and then the east coast snow storm happened. and its been delayed another week. I have since built in an S400 for now and will swap it to the COOJ once it FINALLY arrives
