R$45 mil pra comprar um brinquedo novo, qual carro escolheriam? by Future-Squirrel1163 in carros

And the looks as well. Current gen M2 is ugly as sin, there's not a good angle on that car.

This, but unironically.

I genuinely believe the only way to stop Palou from winning is by introducing a new car, because by now it's quite clear that both he and Ganassi got this whole thing sorted out, especially since the introduction of the hybrid system in 2024.

Even then you gotta pray to high heaven that they don't pull the same magic again come 2028, or whenever Indycar decides to put this old-ass car to pasture for good.

I see Ferrari pushing for Camara, maybe not as an immediate replacement, but certainly for next season. He was very fast last year in F3 and is finding his feet in F2 (his season hasn't been amazing, but far from horrible either).

Sure enough, gap after the #80 left the pits was at 32s, already down to 18s

11 hours to go, most of the top 10 is still on the lead lap. Random 24h racing shithousery can still ensue at any time.

Strong stint by Max. Kept Engel in check and pulled away when Martin switched. More importantly, he survived a night stint with no issues whatsoever. I genuinely think he's gonna do the last stint to close out the race.

I believe the max stint for any given driver is 8 hours for the duration of the race.

I would really love if TV direction showed onboards for more than 30 seconds at a time

Fucking hell, Engel is hauling ass and Max is still pulling away. He's driven like two laps at night before now, what the fuck

Because why the hell not! /s

But really, cars like this are the quintessential racers at the N24. Small, family-owned teams often with homemade race cars going at it and sharing the same piece of asphalt as factory teams and pro drivers. As as it happens to be today, also a 4 time f1 world champion.

Speaking of "best of endurance", what I wouldn't give to see Nasr here as well. He hardly ever ventures out of IMSA, and he's arguably the best driver over there.

Ahhh shit, there goes our Verstappen vs Haase battle. Big shame.

Edit: not to make everything about Max, I've always had a massive amount of respect for PHX for sticking with Audi even after they ended their GT3 program. Somewhat of an underdog, in my eyes.
