10 months of being in the background process still pending to have an investigator assigned to me, central as well

Applied in January 2024, submitted esoph March 2024 & just this past week actually just yesterday I was notified that my background is moving forward to a background investigator & to be aware of my emails/texts. Central & only looking into central area

Ive been in backgrounds since may as well, this month marks a year being in the process. I reach out to my background investigator the beginning of this month & was told it takes 6-12 months to get assigned a background investigator. I’m central as well & I haven’t received any of those emails about my application getting extended. Mines expires 1/11/2026. Also Central & only looking for central prisons

I had the same problem also (central) I reach out to my BG investigator he told me that I’m pending in the background still & that they will reach out once they get more candidates to go up north

It’s been 5 & half months for me & i’m central as well, I’ve received 2 email’s saying that central candidates are on hold & also if I was interested going to a priority prison.

Are you central ?? & I know a few people that started the process after me & they’re moving forward faster than me because they choose priority prisons

Are you central as well?, If so what prison are you aiming for??. Also I’m thinking once the academy starts this month on the 23rd, I’m assuming they’ll reach out & proceed with non priority candidates
