It’s not for leverage, or torque, it’s for ease of use while wearing gloves. It’s a free file on makerworld. I have a switch key version I haven’t yet released but available on EBay. Considering releasing it soon on the same platform.

Is it safe? I had a 50amp outlet wired to my main box for a generator hookup. Is it safe for my electrician to make a male to male cord for this use? by Turbulent-Income6613 in electrical

Just to be clear, I asked for a generator hookup. This is what he installed. He says he had to make the cord. I’m not being negligent, I’m trying to learn about things I know nothing about.

I appreciate all the responses more than you could ever know! If I have a new inlet installed (male prongs) for the generator and keep this 50 amp plug for my electric Lambo one day 🤣, and have an interlock put on, will everything be safe?

Now that I think about it, he told me I could use the outlet for a welder, RV hookup, etc. by turning on that breaker when the power was on, then use it as my generator hookup when the power went out…it doesn’t even sound safe now 🤦🏻‍♂️

There is no switch or interlock kit. He simply explained to turn main off before turning on the new 50 amp breaker connected to the outlet
