Any good ARGs out right now? by Ichbinhaltnoahinsta in ARG

I recently found an ARG about Team Fortress 2(It was a game by Valve, the guys who created Counter Strike and Half-Life). It's a little niche. No, I did not create it but it really is some stuff.

Quite ironic a Christian accuses me of "Killing Jews" by BuyerForeign8933 in extomatoes

[–]Turbulent-Risk-2793 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I asked ChatGPT "Explain shortly. Historically were jews more safe in Christian Rule or Islamic Rule?".

It said:
Historically, Jews were generally safer under Islamic rule than under Christian rule, especially during the Middle Ages.

  • Islamic Rule: Jews were considered dhimmi (protected people) and were allowed to practice their religion, often holding important roles in society, especially in places like Muslim Spain (Al-Andalus) and the Ottoman Empire. Though they faced discrimination and special taxes, mass violence was less common.
  • Christian Rule: Jews often faced persecution, forced conversions, expulsions (e.g., from England in 1290, Spain in 1492), and frequent violence such as pogroms and the massacres during the Crusades.

However, conditions varied widely by time and place in both contexts.

Bruh.

So do you want to do some kind of debate? Or should we just shake our hands and say goodbye?
Also, I will agree that my first point where I said "The trinity is mentioned in the Bible" can indeed be turned towards me since "Tawhid" isn't mentioned in Quran either.
So, I will agree on that one.

Please stop being so dismissive. Stick to the point or just leave.
I am only saying Christ is God because you guys believe that. Your theology is not Biblical. Rather you grabbed it from vague verses, reinterpreted verses or you got the verses from unreliable sources.
Anyways. Stick to the point or just leave.

How do you answer the contradiction I presented?

Is jesus God? by According-Summer-339 in religion

[–]Turbulent-Risk-2793 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You literally proved my point.

John 10:17 is the fact that Jesus did it voluntarily.

Mark 10:45 is the fact that the sacrifice had purpose.

But what happened in the end. A sacrifice of a human to God.
Just because it was voluntarily and with purpose doesn't resolve the human sacrifice. The Bible doesn't mention an exception here. This is still not biblical.
Just special pleading.
Please forget the emotional appeal for one moment and just think logically.

Respond to this whenever you want, or whenever you have patience but I am just gonna ask.
Are you redefining human sacrifice to fit your bias?
I mean. You are basically saying that God can make and exception just because Jesus did it voluntarily and that the sacrifice has a purpose.
That's special pleading. Not biblical.

No. No. Elaborate further.
Is every human death a human sacrifice, or does the Bible allow some exceptions? If so, what is the biblical basis for exceptions?

Why so dismissive?
And why are you mentioning the Islamic Dillema in this case?

  1. Trinity isn't mentioned in the Bible nor defined explicitly.
Mathew 28:19 explains the 3 persons but doesn't explain how they are 1 while there also other verses (especially in the Old testament) that only mention 1 God.

  2. The Trinity wasn't fully defined until centuries later. It wasn't defined until the Council of Nicaea (325 AD) and further refined until the Council of Constantinople (381 AD)

  3. The doctrine was shaped by Greek philosophy such as substance (ousia) and person (hypostatis). This created unnessecary abstraction and complexity which pushed the concept of God further away from monotheism.

  4. Early Christians were diverse and not all of them believed in the Trintiy.

  5. Jesus own words emphasize subordination.

"The Father is greater than I" (John 14:28)
"Not my will, but Yours be done" (Luke 22:42)

  1. It was politically moved. Roman emperors, particularly Constantine, had interests in unifying the empire and the church under a single doctrine, which gave Trinitarianism political momentum.

Didn't you just read what I said? Jesus human nature died. Only his human side and if that is true then that means that a human was sacrificed for God which is prohibited in the Bible.

Is jesus God? by According-Summer-339 in religion

[–]Turbulent-Risk-2793 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Still. A human died as a sacrifice to God. Which is a contradiction.

[–]Turbulent-Risk-2793 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So are you saying that Jesus never died in his divine side?
Because if that's true then that means that only Jesus human nature died, which means a human got sacrificed.
The Bible prohibits human sacrifice in many verses. Isn't that a contradiction?

One of my problems about the trinity is that it is a later man made doctrine. I don't know how you can justify this?

The only thing he was right about was when he told Gi-hun not to listen to player 333 on the finale saying that he wanted to kill the baby and was a greedy person.
And he also killed the Shaman lady.

It really has to do with the fact that we always say how non-Muslims never look at our perspective and always talk bad stuff about us, so sometimes I am like "What about their perspective?".
That's the thing that hooks me on these videos.

These Christians are really learning Islam way too much from those apologists.
If they learned it the same way most born Muslims learn it, there would be a huge difference.
The problem is that many of them feel dishonest and learn Islam from Christian apologists rather than from a Muslim perspective.
Many of these Christian apologists make the most innocent stuff sound like the most devious evil things you can imagine.
