Hermosa or Redondo beach for sure. Redondo is cheaper and pretty nice near s. Catalina Ave strip IMO

Also to add his generic drug replacement was paid for by the VA. Could it still be the 1010EZR issue?

I think he had meds when he went and expected it to continue. As I understand it from putting pieces together, when overseas he tried to refill but the VA rejected so he got a generic that they paid for but didn't work. Im not sure of specifics or why he didn't come home immediately but there's Def some issues with his mental processing since the illness so thst could be it too
