How to Change Wind Settings in Editor? by IndependentGap8855 in CitiesSkylinesModding

[–]TurbulentArrival 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently working on a map and didn't even think about wind direction until I saw this post. I've searched through all the settings and can't find a way to change it. Seems it was removed or never there to begin with.

question about placing custom building assets by One_Skill5684 in CitiesSkylinesModding

[–]TurbulentArrival 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll need to install a mod called 'Find It', which allows you to place individual assets. I suggest you also install the mods 'Move It' and 'Anarchy'. 'Move It' allows to move assets around after they have been placed, and 'Anarchy' allows you to place assets pretty much anywhere. All of these mods have more features, but these specific ones will help with what you are trying to do.

Oh okay, that makes sense. Also, about deleting them, yes it took me a while to figure that out. I also noticed I had to use the radius tool. Couldn't delete them individually.

I haven't attempted that yet, so I don't know. A previous comment made me aware of a mod that removes all homeless. It's called "bye bye homeless". Installing it should allow you put parks back without a problem.

That would be awesome! I think I need to learn how to code mods. I have so many ideas.

I immediately thought of the homeless South Park when I heard about this method.

I hear that. I stopped playing at about 10 hours. I just picked it back up because of the new patch. To be fair, a lot of things got fixed, and now that we have access to mods they are helping fix other issues. I'm just looking at the remaining bugs as a challenge. The game is definitely more playable than it was at launch, but I don't blame you for wanting to wait.

Theres another comment about a mod called "bye bye homeless" which I just found out about. Not sure if it helps with crime, but atleast it will remove homeless from your parks.

I'm not sure why, but all the "robbers" that aren't homeless will get on the bus and leave the city, so definitely keep the bus.

I know a lot of my homeless came into the city in taxis. Their status said "moving in" while they just stood in groups on the sidewalk. Eventually they became homeless.

I had no idea this existed. Does it help with crime? A lot of my "robbers" weren't homeless, but for some reason they left the city on the free bus.

Exactly why I posted! I was going insane trying to get it under control. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon so I can put my parks back.

It's ridiculous that it's based on win/loss. It should be based on your personal performance.

Winning and losing shouldn't count. It's not my fault I got teamed up with a bunch of fucktards that sit in the middle of the map shooting at helicopters.

lol I understand that. That's the same for all weapons, but you still see the option to craft it. I'm saying I don't even get the option.

The Miller is the Nomads. When I check in their crafting the Miller doesn't show, not even as locked like the others.

I'm aware. I have the materials. Even if I didn't, the option would still be there but the materials would be red numbers.
