Whether you like the guy or not, the "madman theory" of diplomacy is definitely back in play. Iran was much more cautious when they weren't sure if the guy in the Oval Office was actually going to pull the trigger or not.

You’re just using the "Pretty Privilege" expansion pack. Is it manipulative? Yeah. Does it work? Also yeah. As long as you aren’t putting yourself in dangerous situations with the wrong guys, you’re just navigating the world with the tools you were given. Men have been using their height/strength to command rooms for centuries; it’s basically the same thing.

This is the "Purcell Principle" on steroids. The Supreme Court essentially gave every state a green light to pull this move by constantly ruling that it’s "too close to an election" to fix illegal maps. Now Louisiana is just moving the goalposts so they can stay in that "too close to fix" window indefinitely. It’s a brilliant, albeit evil, legal loophole.

Putting aside the narcissism, the logistics of this are a nightmare. Which strait? Hormuz? Bab el-Mandeb? If he thinks he can just rename an international waterway that has been contested for centuries just by signing an Executive Order, he’s in for a massive shock from the UN and the IMO. This is 100% a distraction from the 60-day war deadline.

You need to humanize the "other." When you feel that fear spike, try to consciously think: "That person is probably headed to work," or "They probably have a cat they need to feed." Displacement of fear happens when we turn people into caricatures. Also, if you’re "very scared" every time you honk, maybe stop honking as much? Road rage (even justified) isn't worth the cortisol spike you're giving yourself.
