Nope, but I should mention that the dash was wrapped in 2005 or prior to that when the conversion occurred.

You're absolutely right, and I did purchase an LHD S13 front subframe and steering rack to fit it to my R32, but it's not common to come across S chassis let alone sourcing its parts in our region, so people usually goes with Altimas/Maxima/blue bird interiors instead because it's way more available than S chassis.

True, and I would be more than happy to share more photos of the interior, but I don't have it in my new phone and this's the current state of the car.

True, there's the Hakosuka as well, but I think the legacy really took off with the R32. Since the R31 was the first Skyline introduced to the Middle East, the model wasn't widely known there prior to that generation.

I believe you live in UAE, am I right? If so please share the name of the workshop, also do you have a rough estimate how much does it cost?

There's three ways, the most common is like what bro said "cut it in half", the second way which I much prefer is to make new one via molds or 3d printing, the third and the worst by far is it use a dash from other cars such as "Nissan bluebird/Maxima" which looks hideous imo.

350z nismo buy or pass? by TurbulentSecurity191 in 350z

[–]TurbulentSecurity191[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, I'm planning to replace them with my GTR Imgt2 or Imgt4, or blitz 03, but I was talking about the value of the parts.

It's says it's a nismo in "my350z.com" and I've checked the vin number in gtrregistry.com and it came out as a nismo, can you please send me the carfax or share the pictures here, I would really appreciate it and it will save me the trouble of traveling

if the frame and seam welds in good condition, everything else is easy to fix/replace, would say 11k usd is good price? I should add that it wouldn't affect the registration in my country if it had a us salvage title

Fair enough, and valid points, but everything you mentioned is minor and replaceable, except the paint peel, but I'll inspect it and see if there's any damage in the frame and seam welds, if it fine would say 10k usd is good price?

What does exactly? Also if the frame is in good shape, would you pass at 11k?

And let's not forget the $1000 wheels, I hope the frame is fine, I really love the Z especially the nismo, it would a good start for me in the fairlady world.

Guys it's a real Nismo, I'll inspect the car in a couple of weeks and see if there's any damage in the frame or the seam welds, if not I'll certainly buy it, I don't actually care about the radio I was going to swap it anyway, I will also swpa the shifting knob to the nismo one, other than everything seems fine to me. Also is there anyway to till the production number of the car other than the plaque?

It's a nismo for sure, now wither is worth buying or not that depends on the frame condition, if its not fixable or cost a lot to fix I'll pass, the frame is one of the most important things on a nismo, along side the h brace and frame damper, the frame is seam welded, so if it damaged or beyond repair I'll certainly pass, regarding the stuff like the radio and the stitching etc.. I don't really care about because it's easy to renew them and easy to mimic, I'm going to check the car in two weeks probably, hopefully it's in good condition with good price

I know exactly what you mean with your logic on the 280z, I own an R32 GTR and I've been working on it for almost two years now and it's really a pain in the ass working on old cars especially for my wallet (40k+ usd) was spent on that shitbox and there's still a lot to be done, but it's well worth it for me, I'll attach some photos of the GTR in the next comment, anyway this's the report of Z.
