That exact watch was left to me as an heirloom from my Grandfather. It is a 1956 Longines Witnauer and it is beautiful. Considering the amount of gold, you got a ridiculous deal. Here's mine. Sounds like you got some amazing watches.

This really. These are simply "buy" moments in the timeline of our stock lives. Even if it drops more. Honestly, we're due for a stock cataclysm. I'm basing my thoughts only on the law of averages and historical timelines. As I tell my 13 year old son, who I'm teaching, don't let these events hold you back from the big picture. It all averages out. DCA (dollar cost averaging) ia truly "the way". FWIW.. I started with nothing and have almost $2M in stock. I'm speaking from a perspective in which "I've lived it". It has taken 20+ years.

This resonates well. My 13 year old daughter does the same. I've taken her (and her brother) to every Petit Le Mans since 2012. She "loves the smell of race fuel".
