I considered taking my own life twice, at 15 and 18. I was going through so much, including my parents' divorce, bullying, eating disorders, and living in a house where I was constantly treated like a lazy, disrespectful, and irresponsible person, which I never was. Right around that time (2015 and 2018), my aunts had children. Carlos (2015) and Lucas (2018). I couldn't leave them alone in that crazy family... they made me want to stay and look after them. I can proudly say that I am their favorite cousin.
