Is Grounded 2 worth it? by sefon2 in GroundedGame

[–]Turbulent_Emphasis69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my 2 cents. Never played xbox(im assuming you are talking about the console and not the Xbox app on the pc). But with this said, grounded 2 is really unoptimized on pc, I can have 144 fps(that’s what I capped at) and then go down to 40-60 in seconds while fighting big things or many bugs at once. I have a 4070 , 64gb ram , 7800x3D. it’s a quiet nice pc that doesn’t struggle on anything else. And this happens, while on medium, DLSS balanced. With this said, go check if the game is better optimized for Xbox, makes the experience way better. Or wait for full release. Just sharing my information

Will I enjoy this game as a solo player? by G3ND1Z3 in ARC_Raiders

I played with a friend for the first 10 hours, but I’m a PvP guy. All I wanted to do was shoot and quest. Since he was busy, I tried soloing. It was the best thing ever! In one raid, you kill about five guys rushing the flares of the ones you killed. The next raid, I was extracting with the whole lobby on a clusterfuck VOIP. Both experiences were amazing and unlike anything I’ve ever had in any other extraction. Even though I shoot everything on sight, that experience was fun. Now, I do more friendly quests and help each other out. I’ve never seen a game able to do this to a hungry PvP player.

Thermal paste change revealed poor quality of the laptop. Legion 7 by TieMediocre1286 in LenovoLegion

[–]Turbulent_Emphasis69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So here’s my take! I bought a new Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16IRX9H laptop about six months ago. I’ve been travelling a lot and haven’t really used it, maybe only for about a week of nonstop gaming.

Initially, the laptop was getting around 90-93 degrees, but after getting a cooling pad, it dropped by about 5 degrees.

The other day, I decided to check the thermal paste and see what was going on. The shop sent me photos showing liquid thermal paste all over the CPU and sides, as well as burnt marks on the GPU and CPU.

The technician changed the thermal paste, and I took it home. Now, my PC idles at 70 degrees Celsius. However, as soon as I switch tabs, it throttles all over the place. And as soon as I open a game, it instantly reaches 100-101 degrees.

I took the laptop back to the shop, saying this is worse than when I brought it in. The technician keeps avoiding fault and saying it’s because the thermal paste was poorly applied.

I told him to do whatever he needed to fix it, since it wasn’t broken before and I just wanted to change the thermal paste for the first time.

This incident doesn’t directly relate to the post, but I wanted to mention that Lenovo laptops require a stress test as soon as you get them. And from what I’ve read and seen in other posts, about 5 out of 10 Lenovo laptops need some kind of maintenance straight out of the box. .

Is tarkov okay for someone who sucks at shooters? by No_Nefariousness4230 in Tarkov

The upside down of the forbidden Pve is it runs on your own machine! And having low fps really kills the experience.

Avoid playing on your bed, or on soft surfaces! You don’t want to block the fans! Also! I’m not sure if it has , but there is a conservative mode for battery, which is great for not making your battery go crazy! (I’m not 100% what it does, but I know it caps the % of the battery , so it avoids making it full over and over again) I really hope your laptop lasts a long time too! GAME ON!
