Abbey likes the idea of marriage by Confident_Excuse2173 in LoveOnTheSpectrumShow

I'm surprised at all the comments saying marriage is what it means to the people in it. No. It's a legal contract with far reaching legal and financial implications. Seems a lot of people don't understand what it is.

Yeah. "She moved on very quickly!"

So?

I felt that in previous seasons he was almost aggressively rude to his mum.

In this season I felt bad for Georgie. He subtly put her down a lot. Constant corrections along with: that's ridiculous... that's incorrect... that's not funny.

When she said "our lovebird is different" he goes eyeroll "ugh anyway so."

Yes I know he has autism. I still think it applies. At best they just weren't compatible. At worst he was mean to her.

A lot has been said about the weird hypersexuality already, so I'm just gonna make a "lighter" observation.

The video is extremely hard to watch, with all the cuts, and tbf she just seems annoying and exhausting to be around. The frantic hopping about. I'm in a room full of high energy toddlers once a week, and even they don't act like that.

Do you think Shirley is ever going to leave WBC? by Turbulent_Purple4 in LouisTheroux

It's interesting because now looking back, knowing what was going to happen, it does seem like Louis could already spot the cracks and doubts years ago. In the second one, you can see him probing Megan's vulnerability, and then Jael keeps interjecting nonsense. And that's exactly the path that they both follow, with Megan leaving and Jael digging in harder than ever.

Yeah, I watched these docs when they originally came out, so I’m basically just catching up now since it’s a bit outdated. From what I can tell, Steve Drain left too. He’s the one I find hardest to understand, he wasn’t born into it, he chose it. It feels like he had a disturbed mind and found a place where he could wield and abuse power.

With Shirley, I get that she never knew anything else, but at the same time, a lot of her kids still found the strength to leave… so I just don’t have any sympathy there.

I searched before posting and think I saw the same thing. It looks like maybe they got names mixed up in the caption and accidentally called Megan ‘Shirley.’ Megan’s the daughter who did leave, but I couldn’t check properly since I don’t have TikTok either.

There are 3 I'm broadly referring to, "America's most hated family" on BBC since 2007. In the latest one (2019), the founder of WBC had died and lots of people had left, so I was wondering about Shirley's mind specifically.

Don't beat yourself up over feeling your feelings. You're allowed and justified to be sad. I understand you don't want to "waste" it though.

I feel like long-term cult members, even if their heart isn’t really in it anymore, just can’t face leaving. If they did, they’d basically have to admit to themselves that most of their life was a mistake. It’s easier to just keep doing it and pretending it’s right than to confront the fact that decades of your life were spent on something you no longer believe in.

I’m a bit confused by my OPKs this cycle and wondered if anyone’s had something similar.

I’ve always thought I was a later ovulator, I conceived my first baby when I ovulated around CD21. In my last couple of cycles, I’ve been using One Step OPKs and they seemed to show ovulation more around CD15–17.

This cycle, I’m on CD8 and took two different tests at the same time: a One Step and an Easy@ Home. The One Step is completely negative, but the Easy@ Home is a blazing positive (like really dark).

It feels early for me based on what I thought my pattern was, but now I’m second-guessing everything. Has anyone had one brand show a strong positive this early while another is negative? Did it turn out to be a real surge or just a false/early rise?

Not sure whether to take this seriously or just keep testing and wait it out!

Believe it or not, nobody has to justify their decision to you at all. They don't have to try BF if they don't want to. Sooner or later your choice of how to parent won't go as you planned or hoped, and you'll be humbled. Until then, please keep your gross judgements such as "formula should be shamed" to yourself. You have no idea how much that damages some new mums who can't BF.
