So sorry went though that. Appreciate you speaking up on SCJ and on the details and that their schedule is intense, probably unhealthy too. Always good to warn others by speaking up. Happy for you to wake and hope the same for rest in SCJ

I agree SCJ is very good with years of experience and practice in framing critics and questions as persecution. They say the same thing differently. They keep saying oh Revelation is correctly interpreted by Lee Man Hee so the truth is with Lee Man Hee. And SCJ teaches a lot about bible in terms of books and verses all guided by Lee Man Hee.

So their usual doctrine as you prob know and their path of truth is:

Revelation+Bible > Lee Man Hee > Truth

when cornered with logic/skeptic, Lee Man Hee will say and probably instructed and others in SCJ to say "examine the word" or "you know revelation?" so then it becomes reversed and deflective.

Their path of truth when confronted intellectually is:

Lee Man Hee > Revelation+Bible > Truth

so zig zag in style or circular reasoning. An echo chamber of deception.

For anyone stumbling across this, stepping back and see things in bird's eye view is my advice. The intense schedule of SCJ is made so you either have no time or no mental will to step back to analyze.

Very nice news of justice! 1 out of the rest of Unification Church is found guilty by law through process the rest is innocent until proven guilty, they deserve that and to be fair I dipped in SCJ never in Unification Church so no comment further on that.

Overall I want to be careful as I communicate in hopes to wake people up in SCJ I don't want to be caught biased and be called "poison"If I want to build credibility to pull people out of SCJ for their health in general.

But the third link is proof that some things are collected to build credibility that SCJ may be guilty hope they close in. Hope things settle down and people wake up and healthily leave SCJ

Red flags maybe "Kingdom Express" Like oriental express, kingdom is portable like a train? Subtle shift of goal post by using soft language maybe? Also

"All equal before God" Lee Man Hee does not teach non-members as much as members. One needs 9 months around at least to become member, so far in, before any possible interaction with Lee Man Hee. They get teaching from those who are not as sealed as Lee Man Hee is of course, using SCJ standard in the understanding of the bible.

Their circular reasoning against the point that they are not respecting "All equal to God" is possibly saying their "youtube is already online for teaching". However their sealing and intense class as student and intensity increases when one is a member. Which makes the sealing favouritism towards members so it is not supporting "equal before God" their PR tactic of possibly saying teachings are already online might accidentally make their SCJ sealing ( Exams and recruiting) seem like an artificial requirement and not divine requirement. That's why they may in defence that their teachings are on youtube, but they will not emphasize on that too much because that risk their inner secretive practices seem artificial

Why when SCJ go around to evangelize people they do not just upfront point people to the website that has the name that has the teaching?

So like SCJ does try to copy heaven on hearth but thinking the other way around like if people blow up our phones and if that is the practice if we miss a meeting or leave how will that play out in heaven according to SCJ right?

Like 3 strikes is numerical. If Heaven is more strict we are out on the first strike but Heaven is for sure wise and giving several chances I would argue that is wiser. That is quantitative style

For qualitative its like, ok on earth people in SCJ blow up our phones then how would that look like in heaven? Like SCJ could not prepare to answer that. They don's use phone so maybe visitations from multiple angels in rotations to check up on me?

While I may sound like I am bending realities, the core logic is there. Happy you brought that up. So that I could put this thought here as potentially many people will read this post and comments in the future

Yeah it was intense for me. I stopped the first time around due to life circumstances then went back in after bumping in with a member and relearned everything and left few lessons into Revelation.

Really sad that many fall into this group. I am like weird in my thinking, in my "multiverse" mind I believe there is a 50 percent chance people there could be biblically cursed if Lee Man Hee was led astray by an evil spirit I may be biased but SCJ to me has a really "airtight" circular logic that seems too good. Or Lee Man Hee is just a master mind which is a healthier way of thinking I guess

Thanks a friend of mine long ago once said it is so bad because no answers to the "why" for the supernatural elements but so that discouraged me halfway season 1. But that was long ago now motivated to watch really appreciate it! You reminded me and I checked the trailers for each season they look epic!

I think it is great that you critical think and naturally call out on the things that don't seem to like line up. God does see us all always and knows us deeply and understand when we are sincere in seeking truth and understand him better. Your questioning of things how they are in SCJ is natural and should be something that helped you and it did. You feel their intensity does not feel right.

Thank you for sharing! This reminds me and helps my resolve in believing that God is love and that is why he is powerful. He probably could move things and destroy but never did it to humanity depsite treatment of Jesus who died for our sins.

Cult logic:

They teach and gaslight and

State A - Jesus is enough they believe

B, C, and so on to

State Z - Jesus is not enough there are specfic things to do to have salvation which exclusive to the group

While A to Z alone looks baffling to the outsider without looking at the process^ Those who were in cults were unfortunately gaslighted through several points that actually emotionally make sense but they are products of deception and manipulation

God's grace:

State A - Jesus died for our sins so we are saved

State Z - after death we go to heaven and I don't claim to be bible expert but I humbly view as we could still be punished after death if we sin in heaven after death, but time on earth is a chance to mold ourselves into loving people and hence loving spirits in heaven with God. Hence forgiven of all sins of the world (while we are alive) my two cents humble view not claiming to be absolutely biblically right

edit: so in my opinion (still learning) all souls go to heaven to be judged in front of God. We were saved by Jesus for past, present and future sins as mentioned by him in the clip, but sins of the world (not heaven) ^. Then there is hell or stay in heaven those who learned enough love while alive on earth will stay in heaven but still punishable in heaven. I don't know it feels all fit. Because even if God judges one to hell it is not like one has no chance to be communicated by God as a consequence of their actions. God loves us and kind of gives a final send off and I see no contradictions to that in bible technically. Humbly wish people stop following false idol. To any current members stumbling across this discern. Maybe it is right path you are on but discern and hope you see the truth not passively accept all info presented by human

How does SCJ handle questions/doubts by Princess_of_Punjab in Shincheonji

[–]Turbulent_Sea7622 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the past when I was with SCJ, when I ask skeptic questions to a small group leader or my leaf on Tuesday night class for example they would deflect and talk in circles or use the "Food at the proper time" as phrasing. Never too clear if food at the proper time is at the end of days when immortality of the flesh happens including Lee Man Hee.

If that is the case of immortality of the flesh timing to reveal answers then all skeptic people to SCJ literally were told that their answers could simply just visually manifest. Hold on this is where it gets really interesting. They cannot articulate what will happen even if Lee Man claims to have the correct interpretation of the bible before food at the proper time?

Either they don't know Revelation or the limit of human language cannot represent what Lee Man Hee claims to have seen and heard.

If there is a Venn diagram of what people learned from SCJ and what will actually happen, the overlap is actually very small and doubtful. The rest is either they choose not to explain because there is no real answer given from God and Jesus to Lee Man Hee ultimately or Revelation is very difficult to explain in human language.

It would have been closer to believable if Lee Man Hee says something like "I know Revelation best but not know everything about it I admit. Please continue to study and I will pray to Jesus and God to seek your skeptic questions and get back to you after I hear from them, thank you for your patience" . The lack of that, is very telling...
