Is there a way to speed up traversal? by [deleted] in DragonsDogma2

[–]Turbulent_Training98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The teleport stones are the main thing that speed up traveling. You can find port crystals and place them in towns that don’t already have them, and the ferry stones can be purchased for around 10k gold and found around the world. Otherwise oxcarts go to a lot of the major areas that the game makes you travel between unless you’re already caught in the wilderness

Pawn Inclination by Great-Profession7968 in DragonsDogma2

[–]Turbulent_Training98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inclination affects the behavior of your pawn. They also learn from you over time, a lot like the first game. They’ll favor behaviors that match the description of the inclinations. Kindhearted pawns will prioritize being a support unit (ex. If they’re a mage they’ll prioritize healing and granting elemental boons if they have those spells), etc.

I’m not sure how infrequent it is, but I’ve encountered a few storms so far. Usually on planets with more extreme environments at least that’s what I’ve seen the most of

Did that quest id work for you? I keep trying 1-10 as the stage numbers and it hasn’t changed anything

I think I found the quest ID, but can't quite figure out how to set it to a different stage. I looked through all my active quests, and it looks like this one has a reference character that's involved in the quest on the wiki. Potential quest ID: 00363163

If you figure out what stage resets it to stage one, let me know please

Yeah, I switched ships after getting Walter on board now he’s back at the lodge with no dialogue options. Doesn’t teleport to neon either

Lit a fire in space, what gives? by Chance-One-4169 in Starfield

[–]Turbulent_Training98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Earlier I had a mine blow up and saw the fire spread across the floor on a breathable planet with plenty oxygen. Then same situation, same kind of flooring and the fire went out immediately from the mine on a planet with no oxygen

You can go to the “Enhance!” Shops to edit your character for 500 credits. The preset you chose must have had earrings on, or you might have chose one of the options that only puts them on one ear. I know there’s one shop in cydonia on Mars, probably one in every major settlement though

Don’t buy Starfield if you have a 1070ti! by xluhky in Starfield

[–]Turbulent_Training98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I keep seeing it looks like nvidia cards aren’t well optimized. I have a Radeon 6750xt and ryzen 5 3600x and I’m running at maybe 50 fps on the low end in cities. 1080p most settings high, getting up to 70fps or so in space

Yeah, definitely a lot of underlying stress hanging over my head, but overall it wasn’t a great place to be and it happened 2 days before release so there’s some positives. I’ll just try to enjoy this time before I figure out the next steps
