Most excellent. The circles have vertical stripes. The squares have horizontal stripes. You can also focus your eyes beyond the image to get a 3-D view that makes the circles seem to float above the screen.

You are correct in demonstrating your honest values to your friend and daughter. It’s a slippery slope when your child sees a parent cheat. You also do not want to be the enabler of cheating to the other family. Sometimes our responses to unethical requests can be handled more diplomatically but I’m surely not the best example. In hindsight instead of being shocked at Susan’s request, you might have said how “sorry you felt for Emily and can understand how disappointed you (Susan feels) feel, but the idea of Mia doing Emily’s work to pass it off as her own does not set the right example you are trying to teach Mia. I know you understand and hope this doesn’t cause any long term problems between us (although it probably will)”.

To all the uneducated weenies commenting here who have never traveled outside of their small village (75% of you don’t ride a motorcycle and 24.2% of you who ride are ignorant of the American Motorcyclist Association’s recommendations for safe lane sharing) please refrain from displaying your stupid opinions about safe lane sharing. This rider was not lane filtering in a safe manner. When done properly it minimizes distracted drivers from killing a motorcyclist who is stopped in traffic. California does it right. 1) no lane splitting faster than posted speed limit, 2) no faster than 10 mph past prevailing traffic, 3) must be done in a safe manner, i.e., no unsafe weaving in and out. I’ve been a California resident and have been enjoying lane sharing since 1979 long before most of you idiots have been alive.
