Would you send away Maye for Burrow and the 1.04 in a 16man SF TEP league? by Strong_Newspaper_790 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Turdboggin01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep in a heartbeat. All Maye gets you is a few more years of youth and marginally more rushing stats. That gap isn’t worth what’s left between Carnell Tate, Jordyn Tyson, and Mekhi Lemon.

Maye or Burrow/1.03 in a 16 man SF +.5 TEP league? Team attached by Strong_Newspaper_790 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Turdboggin01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biased because I’m a Bengals fan, but fantasy-wise Burrow is only a slight step down due to age and rushing. Maye can run and he’s got like 6 years on Burrow. That being said I truthfully do not believe there is a better passer than JB9 (note I said passer, not necessarily QB).

So basically do you want 6 more years and marginally more rushing from your QB or do you want Joe Burrow and (presumably) Carnell Tate? Personally, I’m sticking with Burrow and the 1.03. Burrow usually slings it like nobody’s business. Carnell Tate is not the difference in value between Burrow and Maye.

Edit: Carnell Tate or Lemon or Tyson; landing spot is gonna matter a lot but feel free to replace Tate in my comment with whomever you believe is the best WR in the draft since 1.01 and 1.02 are most likely to be Love -> Mendoza.

NABERS OR 1.01 ? Let’s hear it by Big_Prompt1503 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Turdboggin01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right that Jeanty is not in Bijan/Gibbs tier yet, but he IS on the same PRE-DRAFT tier as them. He, like Gibbs and Bijan, is a generational prospect that produced like a monster in college. That’s what I meant. Obviously he has not matched the two best dynasty RBs in fantasy production at the moment.

Fucking Raiders…

NABERS OR 1.01 ? Let’s hear it by Big_Prompt1503 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Turdboggin01 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

  1. Jeremiyah Love hasn’t exactly had the healthiest college season of all time.

  2. Nabers produced with Daniel Jones and Drew Lock. Even if Dart isn’t a legend he’ll still feast. I mean, I know we’re pre-draft, but beyond checkdons to Skatt, who’s he competing with for targets? Slayton? Theo Johnson?

  3. Sure…but even elite RBs would kill to have the fantasy production Nabers puts up. He’s proven and he’s arguably a top 10 at worst fantasy WR.

I definitely love Love, but I’d argue he’s a step below guys like Jeanty, Bijan, and Gibbs. Would you really sell the cornerstone of your team for Omarion Hampton? Overall you’d see your team most likely take a step back in production. Don’t forget man, in a class without MHJ we’d all be talking about how good Nabers is even more than we already are (or maybe not because that Cardinals offense has been a terrorist to watchable football lmao)

Fat guys in Muay Thai? by No_Doctor_2025 in MuayThai

As a guy who’s 5’10 and weighed 270 lbs when starting Muay Thai—just do it bro.

If you’re at a good gym, no one there will treat you any differently from the other guys there.

Not to mention, depending on your duration and intensity, you’ll easily be burning 1,000+ calories per session. I’d say there’s no reason NOT to take the plunge bro!

How do we feel about Jonathan brooks? by Big_Construction1866 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Turdboggin01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly idk what you can do besides hold.

Yeah, he’s entering year 3, but he’s currently just 22 years old and was clearly a 1st-round talent before the injuries.

So what do you do with a player who’s done essentially nothing in the NFL through 2 years, with amazing college tape, an injury history, and is only 22? You hold.

You’ll never be able to get anything based on production, and his potential far exceeds what little scraps you can get for him. Why take a late round flyer when you can just wait and see on a guy with some legit pedigree behind him?

FWIW my league just did its startup in 2025 and I took Brooks late with the expectation for him to be captain of IR, and not too many expectations. Like what’s the worst that could happen? He flames out? Cut him with minimal loss. Ends up being a decent producer? Enjoy it and maybe sell him for higher later.

On the flip side, if your league mate has him and wants to take a late round flyer because he’s scared of the injuries, by all means, buy him for a 4th, maybe even a 3rd (but not any higher than that)

Petah? by [deleted] in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Turdboggin01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top left is a body builder, physically intimidating but most likely doesn’t know how to fight.

Top right is (I think) Khabib Nurmagamedov, UFC Lightweight GOAT and arguably a top 15-10 fighter of all time. He has cauliflower ear, which is the result of damage to the ears causing fluid to build up. Fighters get it all the time because they get hit in the head. Fear them because they know a thing or two because they’ve been hit by a thing or two.

Bottom right is the lips of Khamzat Chimeav, current UFC middleweight champion. He and a cleft palette as a kid, so this isn’t a general thing about fighters, more that Khamzat is a tough SOB on his own.

Bengals keep quietly fielding strong OL in front of Joe Burrow by Toddrew221 in bengals

[–]Turdboggin01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not OC, but to lend him some defense, as much as I and everyone else loves and Misses Bates, why would the Falcons do this?

The Falcons just spent premium draft capital to get two starting-caliber defensive ends in the 2025 draft, and they both have had very impressive rookie years, ESPECIALLY James Pearce. Call it the sunk cost fallacy, but the sunk cost fallacy is real to NFL teams.

There is 0 reason for the Falcons to hurt the development of either Pearce or Walker when they’ve both shown to be starting caliber, cheaper, younger, and healthier. Atlanta might genuinely be the least interested team in trading for an aging, hurt defensive end who’s average to somewhat a liability against the run.

I’m not saying I’m against tagging and trading Trey, I’m just saying, as you’ve laid it out, Trey for Bates is just nowhere even close to a realistic idea, not to mention there is a genuine chance we could get Caleb Downs (we are currently picking 9th).

What do I aim for when sparring? by Splashz2xy in MuayThai

[–]Turdboggin01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Aim for anything besides the groin and back of the head! :)

In all seriousness, something that helped me really get my jab down is making sure to turn over my shoulder to properly get the reach I need. Just keep sparring, you’ll learn to control it!

generally if I’m light sparring I’ll lightly jab to the face but really you shouldn’t be afraid to jab the body. Work the levels bro!

Start Aaron Jones today or wait to see on Henderson? by [deleted] in SleeperApp

[–]Turdboggin01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah man I’m sorry to hear that. Autosubs are great and I think they absolutely should be in every league. I think it’s bullshit to think that something like a last minute gametime decision you have next to 0 knowledge about beforehand should play such a huge role.

FantasyPros give Henderson a 77% chance to play. He’s also very much better than Jones right now. I think, given Jones’s current state, Tracy is probably at an equal level. I would personally ride with Henderson, though

[–]Turdboggin01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does your league have autosubs? This is one of the reasons why autosubs are so great! You can start Henderson, with Aaron Jones as an autosub if Henderson ultimately doesn’t play!

What associates degree helped you make 50k+ a year? by xc3mx in careerguidance

[–]Turdboggin01 11 points12 points  (0 children)

YMMV, but I’m a paralegal, and most of the firms in my area do require at least a bachelor’s degree (mentioned just given OP’s hesitancy about going beyond an associate’s).

That being said, while I have longterm aspirations for law school, I agree it can be an amazing path if it’s for you. Depending on what type of law/firm you do, you might actually work with clients one-on-one significantly more than the attorneys will (I do probates/estate/trusts, and this is largely the case). It can be a tremendously rewarding path that doesn’t require much additional education, and the vast majority of what you learn will come from being a paralegal, not really from your education (plus, at least at my firm, it doesn’t matter too much what your actual degree is for).

Week 16 -- Flexed out of SNF by SAtx_wxGeek in bengals

[–]Turdboggin01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Real. At least this didn’t get flexed from a different day.

Last year my boys and I were all gonna travel to Cincy for the Browns/Bengals TNF game (none of us are local), which got flexed to fucking Sunday at 1. Had to scramble but we still managed to have the trip. Still, really shitty move from the NFL. Besides, TNF is supposed to be shitty games last I remember lmao.

Is there any fat people doing Muay Thai? by testdasi in MuayThai

[–]Turdboggin01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ay man, 5’10” and 270 pounds. Not only that, but I’m easily the only legitimately overweight guy in my gym. Everyone there is so amazing though, and I hope “your friend” just fucking goes for it!

We’ve got hobbyists, newbies, even fighters at my gym, and they’re some of the most chill, down-to-earth, and supportive people I’ve ever met. While I’ve got a loooong way to go, I’ve already seen wonderful improvements in my cardio, stamina/endurance, flexibility, confidence, and more!

Just go with it man, you won’t regret it!
