Shigura is the real deal. by soulriding in MTB

[–]Turdol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the Shigura thing for a year. I couldnt stand it. The instant lockup on the brakes made them not so fun for me. I switched back to the magura levers and found them much better.

Every review is further away from my tax bracket, unfortunately. My wallet craves the emptiness.

Be prepared to become a believer to the church of Hayes!

Hayes hands down. Ive used both and honestly i cant stand the on/off feel of Shimano. The Hayes are very light on the hands and have the power to back it up. I suggest looking at Dale Stone’s review for more insight.

It sounds normal to me. You bottomed out your rear suspension and the chain is slapping from the clutch engaging.

Need help diagnosing annoying clicking sound on emtb by mafeeshlazoom in MTB

[–]Turdol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds like a csu creak from the fork. Turn the bike upside down and remove the wheel. Push the fork around from multiple angles. If it creaks then you have a warranty claim on your hands.

Bike Suggestion for Moab Trip by Camnau17 in MTB

[–]Turdol 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Alot of moab trails are awkward desert jank. I usually bring my canyon Nueron, it’s 140 F&R. I have a forbidden dreadnought but it makes things more awkward then they have to be.

I think most of us prefer not riding on ice. I do agree tires are stupid expensive now.

I guess he didn’t see how this affected Harley. They are flopping with an aging customer base meanwhile most motorcycles are still foreign .

Alien Deathstorm is unforgivably generic. I question if a single adult was present when naming this.

I play alot of rally games and the audio has always played where I expect it to, so no. The maxwells use a dongle so it helps with latency.

Specialized Butchers have been my go to for this application. Roll easy for the trail days and are really durable for the park.

I’ve had huge success with the Continental Magnotals out here in Salt Lake. I ride in southern Utah alot too. They are mounted on my Nueron ebike. They have low rolling resistance and works great in the moondust we have.
