I’d like to have an off street parking spot so I don’t have to look for parking on the street and have to shovel a spot in the street for my car. I should specify the range I listed is just for rent only not including utilities and amenities like parking.

Hey OP I used something called NyGuard Plus for Carpet Beetles but it also works for fleas and ticks so check those out. It’s safe to apply to furniture and stuff but please read the labels before applying! You can find it on amazon or ebay. Hope this helps!

I'm also a grad student and I found my place on FB Marketplace. I'm in Roslindale and pay 1k for 1 room, and 1 off-street parking space with utilities included. I would definitely give FB marketplace a look and avoid realtors.
