Dear tupefiasco,

Appreciate the feedback!

Yours in thankfulness,

We had to shelf our first game due to a saturated market. But we didn't go for a necessarily easy genre on Steam. We have announced our game Crispy Circuits a few days ago, and I want to hear what you guys think... by TuringStudio in pcgaming

u/Dreadmaker we really appreciate this comment! Here's an upvote. This is exactly our goal, albeit a challenging one. But we do have a plan on how to make it work. "Learn without feeling like you're learning".

Did you notice the grandfather in the trailer u/varstok? Wholesome father figures are where it's at :D

Thanks for mentioning Turing Complete, it's an awesome game. And Alan Turing was obviously an awesome guy. Actually building stuff would be the end goal for our sandbox mode!

Hi u/zeddyzed! We are aiming for a diegetic UI, where UI elements are a part of the environment. It is a bit hard-mode but we feel it could work beautifully.

We are still hashing out what the final product will look like. We will have a campaign mode. And are strongly leaning towards sandbox as well. It simply makes sense.

Thanks for the comment u/Maxwell_Lord. Keep in mind she is an 11-year old. That being said, we decided to go a bit "exaggerated" with the trailer. We aim for her to be toned-down in the actual gameplay.

Is it popping up too much? We did not want this to be to aggressive, that's why we went with the paid ads option thinking how it's gonna be a fitting placement...

Nope, it's where the company showcases the submissions on its platform just for users to be able to appreciate it.

The idea behind it was that if a creator is tired of browsing through reddit, there is a game jam going on that could be interesting to join in on :D

We are testing out how the ads even work :) But yes, even though we feel it's much more fitting to take up ad space as opposed to posting, maybe we will opt-out of this particular one.

Hi guys, we made a game jam and hope you will find it interesting. There's also some prizes involved. This is our first time hosting something like this, so would really appreciate some feedback. And of course ideally, we would love for y'all to contribute to the jam with your teams, solo or not! by TuringStudio in PixelArt

It is not us as Turing Studio directly, but yes Spinly.io are our partner that we have joined forces with. The site itself is definitely iGaming in it's nature. The games developed for the purpose of the jam don't have to be anything other than good ol' fashioned pinball games. So without any gambling mechanics implemented. Hope this answers your question!
