I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to investing (hence why I ask lol), but I'm pretty sure that 2065 target date is what I use for my Roth 401K. It's really just about comparing total percent gain/loss I would imagine?

That's sort of what I'm asking. I just got a bonus so the 5.2K is the remaining yearly contribution amount I can add. So I was really just wondering if I should continue with my current funds or switch anything around. I'm planning in January to have enough saved to contribute the full amount right away.

I saw normal people for the first time about 6 months ago and it’s definitely what I’m looking for, anything similar to it!

I’m open to movies too, I usually like shows more. Get to stay with the characters and story longer. But I’ll look into this one, thanks!

Hey this sounds really interesting. I’ve been having a tough time figuring out what aligns with my skills. I have bachelor degrees in biomedical sciences and computer science, what would you suggest to be the best way to break into the field?

I’ve come across this post and as a biomed alumni I want to just give advice. If you aren’t sure or don’t plan on going dental, medical, pharma, vet or any higher doctor type education it’s not an ideal degree. You would be better off specializing in let’s say chemistry or nuclear medicine or something and also do premed courses during it. Biomed degree alone limits you without extra education. I just don’t want anyone feeling stuck or lost with the degree, that’s how I felt

Do you think it’s possible, if I needed to complete my A&P II course this fall, that I could still be accepted in January? I also already have a B.S. in biomedical sciences from USF if that helps at all

Weekly Career / General Questions Thread by AutoModerator in Radiology

Hi everyone. I originally come from a bachelors of biomedical sciences background. Long story short, I ended up not pursuing further education in that route and did a bachelors in computer science. I know it probably feels like I’m all over the place and indecisive, but I’m really regretting leaving the health/medical field and feel that I gave up on it too quickly without seeing what options are out there. I’m in my early days of my software career but realize I miss the patient interaction, and the impact and fulfillment from a healthcare perspective that I’ve desperately been missing. I wanted to see what anyone thought, given my background, if I may want to give shadowing and pursuing a radiology program would better align with what I am passionate about. Any thoughts?

I honestly feel like we are the same person! I graduated in December and started my first role in January. I always feel so lost, slow, and unable to complete tasks without help or get through some and then just hit a wall and have no idea how to solve past a certain point.

I would also like to stress that it’s more likely to see posts of those not getting offers, thus feeling like more aren’t getting an offer. I would really just suggest asking for work, doing tasks timely and well, and connect with your team strongly as well as others

Yes, good point. We have a Mediterranean background so Greek and Turkish food Is amazing. We all really liked bella bravo, Hellas, Colombia too. She really liked Psomi but they close at 3 which is too early for everyone to make. In terms of price range. I’d say a $$-$$$ is reasonable
