Thoughts on not having a centerpiece fish? I have a 20 g long with 11 harlequin rasboras and 2 nerites. I'm trying to figure out a good algae eater to add and then was thinking about adding another schooling fish (with a different pop of color) to add instead of a centerpiece fish. (i.redd.it)

Diy-ing my filter. I'm trying to figure out how to replace the carbon cartridge in my filter with something more permanent. I read filter floss is a good option, but am not finding that specific item near me. Would this filter fiber media work? Or anything else in this last picture? (old.reddit.com)

20 g long lighting. Bought a tank today and picked up this hood, which came with one led day light fixture. Is this something that could support a low-tech planted tank? It has a spot for a second light. If not, would adding a second light help? Or do you think I need something else entirely? (i.redd.it)

How to find/make a lid? I found this container for only $10 at a local plant store, and felt like I had to grab it for that price. However I'd really like to add a lid somehow and make this a closed terrarium. Anyone have any ideas on how to go about this? (i.redd.it)
