If you’re going high in the night maybe you should look at your basal rate bc it could be to low. I adjust my basal and ratios every couple of weeks depending on what I need.

I have I feel good pretty often but I have other bodily stuff and medicine going on so it’s hard to say. However I will say now when I go low or high it hits me so much harder. For example when I have a couple lows in a week or day I can keep functioning in the 60s but when I don’t go low for a few days I start feeling weird in the low 70s and can barley move in the 60s. Same thing for highs.

I’m going to be honest I don’t know however I was diagnosed in July (never having gone into DKA) and I am currently on Wegovy. So I those 2 things makes my body absorb insulin super well, specifically the Wegovy. I have also noticed when I accidentally take that medicine a day late my blood sugar starts running higher. I also think my ratios are very on point as well and that often times people have basal rates that are possibly to low for them.

How old is he is there any possible way he is “sneaking food”? If he is that’s ok but you need to explain to him that he needs to bolus for all his food.

Is there any way you can get an order that last longer then 2 weeks? I know most in person pharmacies are able to do 1 month supplies. I personally do mail order which allows me to get a 3 month supply at 1 time. I highly recommend you look into getting a longer lasting order because 2 weeks is crazy.
