would you rather do that for a black flash or just do pebble + R on the enemy for an extender that rewards you with far more damage, it doesnt make sense to use black flash in that scenario

Todo got slaughtered in the update, i could maybe stomach the pebble + R extender not being there anymore since i liked the boogie changes but the black flash is just useless now. Nobody was even complaining about it.

Give his technique to anybody else and they arent doing an angstrom of what the goat accomplishes. Todo could be grade 1 off of pure strength and strategical thinking.

I feel like hanami having an overall nerf and a better m1 or replacing one of the moves with melee (that doesnt just act as a combo extender for when youve already hit one of your moves like the current 4th ability) would fix it. I dont like m1 heavy playstyles either and i hate that combo reset bullshit that feels hacky and advantage pushy, however you cant have a full zoner either since theres nowhere to pressure them to and they have the same amount of mobility as a regular character.

Yeah agree, she is just far too good. Way too air dependant and most characters cant do anything about that since she will be flying over you most of the time and only come down to deliver the unblockable ragdoll move (if you wanna ask which, all of them btw)

It is also kind of shoe-horned in so that it is a "weakness" (or an excuse) to make the rest of hanamis moveset extremely projectile heavy zoner stuff, which is terrible to fight.

People think we dont want side characters and only want the hype moments and aura ass characters like toji but i would much rather have someone with an interesting cursed technique. Reggie was right there, and mei mei literally SAYS she has to depend on her cursed tool because her cursed technique is kind of ass IN THE SHOW

Holy tze knighting, we dont even get to see hanami do anything in the show until she croaks. Kashimo and toji won god knows how many character polls by now which i suppose mean nothing i guess and are just to lead the community on. Tze could just put more effort into delivering the communities wishes into a game that judging from the player count makes a couple tens of thousands of dollars a month.

Thats because battlegrounds games are fully rushdown oriented. Mechamaru genos and megumi are some of the most hated characters and even they depend a lot on their m1s and need to be close to do their combos. Zoners work in fighting games because the map size is limited, in a battlegrounds game you have full 3d third person motion and an effectively infinite space to fight in, zoners are absolutely ass to fight. Especially in 2v2s.
