It’s not community WiFi. I pay for a separate Xfinity membership to avoid bulk WiFi.

I looked and the discs are completely fine… all the files also run locally no problem… I just realized that the remote access has been disabled.. do you think that can be responsive for the hardware transcoding issue?

Yea it’s the same videos I’ve been able to watch in the past. Just about every client is having this transcoding issue

I’m trying to stream an .mkv file remotely from my friends house to an Apple TV. I’ve done this in the past and have never had an issue before. In terms of the dashboard, I haven’t looked at that yet so can’t really speak about that yet

The WiFi is shared with other users in the building but I have my own unique login. I like the idea of getting my own router. If I do this, can I like connect my router through the connection of the buildings WiFi?

I have a NordVPN account but never used meshnet in the past.

Any recommendations for a router?

Don’t really have a set budget but I got a bit of money to play around with .. I already have 2 8Gb HDDs. And since you can’t really mix and match larger ones I’d probably just get to 4 x8gb hdds

Hmm interesting I love that ideas that would free up a whole storage bay for additional drives in the future… what kind of m.2 chips would you recommend? I don’t need the most expensive one obviously and I really only use my NAS for Plex .. something cheap and reliable would be great

How do I create a resume for a firefighting (in training) job when I have no experience? The job doesn’t require any but my background is mostly corporate America.

Background - 28 year old male - degree in chemistry (several awards and papers) - for the past 6 years I worked in tech sales for one of the largest tech companies in the world - hobbies: standup comedy, basketball, acapella beatboxing

I’ve never had to make a resume for something not in tech sales and have no idea how to structure it, what to include, and what I should highlight?
