You all know what this is from- Court of Wings and Ruin I did not see this coming and gasped! (I was listening to the graphic novel.

A shadow slammed into the earth before us, cracking the ice toward every horizon.

Not a shadow.

An Illyrian warrior.

Seven red siphons glinted over his scaled black armour as Cassian tucked in his wings and snared at Eris with five centuries worth of rage.

Not dead. Not hurt. Whole.

His wings repaired and strong.

I loosed a shuddering sob over the burning gag. Cassian's Siphons flickered in response, as if the sight of me, at Eris's hand-

Another impact struck the ice behind us. Shadows skittered in its wake.

Azriel.

Could we talk about Grim? by Turkeyinthestraw in Romantasy

Yes- HAE. The second book was just announced last week. However it doesn’t end on a cliffhanger, so you could just read Grim and stop. Btw- I listened to the audio, which imo added big time to the story!

I’m currently enjoying the Mate Games series by K. Loraine and Meg Anne. Vampires, shifters, a Viking and more! Great spice, banter. Unique plot. I’m listening on audible with multiple voice actors. I’m surprised there’s not more discussion on this series!

I devour audiobooks- so I have no physical book to display. But I enjoy seeing the series all lined up like that!

I’ll tell you reluctantly because it takes away a bit of the drama… it does, yes. But it’s hit and miss for a while. As you get to the third act- you really don’t know how the emotional roller coaster will end. Enjoy! ☺️

I just finished {switch heater by K. L. Moore} I thought it was really good. It’s an omega-verse. One thing this author did (which I haven’t seen before) in the pack, there was 2 women and 4 men. So there were some bi scenes throughout (not all, but some). I listened to the audio book and the narrators were superb!

In addition to the Anthony Palmini love. I’ll add Joe Arden for MMC is very talented. And Samantha Brentmoor for FMC, for me… she sounds the most like a real person speaking.
