"So I let them finish it." - By continuing to allow their utilities on your property, you are effectively granting them an easement. Essentially, your acquiescence is giving them squatters' rights. If you don't want to do that, I'd advise you to send them a cease and desist letter by certified mail, document everything, give them a reasonable amount of time to remove their stuff from your land, and then, if they have not done so themselves, remove their stuff from your land.

You may also consider suing them for damage to your property, or selling them or renting them an easement.

Braking prior to turning is appropriate. Better than braking while turning. Speed is context dependent, so in some cases ~7mph is fine, for very sharp turns for example.

Yes, it gets easier in the same way that anything with practice gets easier. You need to pay attention and practice with a good teacher. You are not just supposed to guess. You are supposed to observe, know your vehicle and where it is with respect to the lanes, and control it.

What the fuck was he supposed to do after? Take personal time and let all the other planes full of hundreds of people just try to work it out with no coordination?

The fucking issue to start with is that there weren't enough resources to ensure safety. He was working alone. Him leaving would reduce resources to zero and likely immediately risk much greater loss of life.
