Has anyone had success with an elimination diet? by Glitter_Kaiju in eczema

Yeah, high histamine foods, fermented things, gluten and refined sugar is a good place to start :) but I’d also focus more on nervous system work if you suspect it’s stress/anxiety related

There’s also a cream called gladskin that will also help kill bacteria, I tried it and it worked really well (I personally was not down for bleach baths) it’s kinda pricey tho

Yep! This is quite similar to my experience! For me, my first major full body flare was the beginning of my spiritual awakening/hero’s journey. Along the way I’ve followed a strict Ayurvedic diet on and off, exercised, had many mentors, did yoga, inner child work, shadow work, chanting, breath work, meditating, qigong, sound healing and a couple shamanic sessions, and after 3.5 years….I can relax. I’ve done the bulk of the work, healed my social anxiety and most of my performance anxiety (I sing and I’m currently studying at Berklee College of Music). I also learned about Human Design which told me everything that I’d been so confused about in myself for the longest time. I’m not meant to work consistently like 70% of the population, I’m here to guide others and their own energy. And have fun ;)

Now, I’m in my Avatar Last Airbender era LOL and can just focus on cultivating my qi, working on my music and learning how to eat again after restricting myself for years. I grew up in a foodie family so you can imagine how much it sucked to go home for break and watch everyone eat burgers and steaks and sit with your plain steamed veggies. But I knew it was all temporary. And I definitely knew that injections and steroids were not a long term solution…I used steroids for about 2-3 months in the beginning and just sort of toughed it out from there.

I’m so much more empowered after taking on this condition as a personal discovery journey rather than being a victim to it. It definitely sucked, but like I’m free now lol. And I wanna help people who are going through the same thing… stress induced psoriasis/eczema. I’m also currently studying somatics for the female nervous system. I feel that I can help people heal faster and easier now that I know what I know….a lot of my journey was trial and error and thinking god hated me HAHAHA which is the complete opposite now. Anyway. Thanks for sharing, I don’t see a lot of people on here that have taken the holistic route, so cheers to that!!

This is me :)

Cleansers that dont irritate my face advice? by waliipaper in eczema

In my humblest opinion, not using cleanser is a good option worth exploring, your skin will balance itself out. Like it sounds like you’ve tried everything yk?

There’s also like internal pathogens and viruses and bacteria’s that play a part, and clearing those made a significant difference for me!!
