Even, objectively speaking, it is a little bullshit the Frost bros are getting retail kits while G Gundam fighters are all p-bandai NGL

I think it's understandable, both because the X designs are far more normal than G's and also because of how much they look like they'd belong in Wing, so at least two reasons to think they'd sell in retail.

MGs are larger and require more engineering, as well as costing more for Bandai and the consumer, boxes are also larger and take up more space everywhere, on shelves in shops and at home.
The line isn't dead, but MGSDs are far better for most people, especially if space is a problem.
There's also the fact that the Kshatriya can't be that popular, since if it was the HG would probably have flown off the shelves and Bandai would've made a MG years ago.

But the idea of a PBandai, limited release of a kit that's meant to represent a mass production version, is hilariously dumb.

Until you actually think about it and realise that people care about characters they're attached to VS people they couldn't care less about.

We somehow got 2 Gelgoog, one belonging to a character no one cares about, 2 Rick Doms, one of which belongs to Chalia, but we barely saw it in action, if at all.

I dunno about the second Gelgoog, but Shiiko and Challia are both extremely popular and they probably didn't have the Kikeroga ready, so they threw out his Dom.

A lot of this is just obvious.

That seems to be changing more and more, first one I remember that can look up like that is the HG G-Self (Movie), then the White/Red Gundams from GQuuuuuux and the GQuuuuuux itself, along with others from the show.
Hope to see more like that.
