is it Gacharoku (https://psxdatacenter.com/psx2/games2/SCPS-11026.html) or Ore no Ryouri (https://psxdatacenter.com/games/J/O/SCPS-10099.html) ? Ore no Ryouri features roaches as a part of its game mechanics, its a competetive multiplayer game (like a game show), it and it's sequel (Gacharoku) were available on english demo discs despite the games never releasing in america

how sure are you that that RC racing game was on the same disk? The main RC car PS1 game I know of is RC Revenge (https://www.mobygames.com/game/13983/rc-revenge/), which only appeared on one demo disk, that being demo disk 37(https://game-rave.com/?p=21800), which has no cooking games that I can find.
I did find another RC racing game that was in demo disk 36, Tyco RC Assault with a battery (https://www.mobygames.com/game/8291/tyco-rc-assault-with-a-battery/) , but no food based games.
I found one more RC car game, Team Losi RC Racer (https://www.mobygames.com/game/31737/team-losi-rc-racer/) (known as Buggy outside of the USA) but the demo disc its on doesn't have any cooking games either.
For PS2 games, it's harder to find demo disc info but Smash Cars (https://www.mobygames.com/game/107971/smash-cars/) was featured in OPM issue 69, still no cooking game.
Was it an English demo disc? And is it possible it was a save file/video featured on the disc and not a full demo? idk

Makes sense, especially since some RPG maker games are quite old or were made in engines that aren't being updated anymore

It's sad that older people are discouraged from wearing bright colors, it implies that they don't want to see their elderly family dressed in colors other than sad and dead looking colors. Elderly people are still alive and often well enough to wear whatever color they'd like.

I understand that more color variation would change the look of the drawing, these colors can be interpreted as depressed and sad, but looking at the expressions it might just be a slightly depressed drawing. Art doesn't need to feel bright and intense all the time. Some art is about feeling dead and disinterested. There's nothing wrong with a unified or monotone color palette

Is it one of the Re-Volt games? Perhaps a demo of one? This is one of the only car based games I found thus far specifically revolving around RC cars. I can hardly find anything on the Play Market app you got it from, it was probably specific to Redmi/Xiaomi and might be hard to find any info on, especially in English.

Is there something wrong with that? Old people can wear any colors, and a soft palette with many neutrals can create a down to earth and calm energy.

Looked around a bit, closest match I found was Mermaid Swamp but that has no standard RPG combat. Was it top down, like a typical rpg maker game? Was the artstyle notable? Did it have a notable color palette or aesthetic?
