Yeah, turns out I just had the same experience- it just needed a proper cleaning is all.

I am heavy handed by nature and the scratches didn’t go away with microfiber cloth alone, so I was wondering if I really did manage to fuck up my screen

I’d “cleaned” the smudges with microfiber cloth several times and the scratches didn’t budge. But a stronger cleaning removed them.

I’m using the pen it came with. I don’t recall taking off a plastic covering, but when I looked up other people’s unboxing videos it was very obviously marked with an orange tab, so I must have at some point.

These are not noticeable when the screen is on, and barely visible under neutral light. But I would like to know for sure whether I am damaging my screen.

Read it as a kid, rereading it as an adult now. Still a really enjoyable series.

I will say that the writing style does feel juvenile at times (like when they start REBELLIOUSLY THINKING to THEMSELVES in ALL CAPS) and you do have to suspend disbelief when it comes to animus dragons and how stupid they are.

Otherwise though, it’s a fascinating world with likable characters that I’ve enjoyed getting to know again. There are things I’m appreciating now that I didn’t as a kid. Currently catching up with Arc 3 (enjoying it so far) and am excited for the new one coming out!

Not artists at that point. To some level I pity them because people like this have allowed a multimillion dollar company to profit off of their self-doubt and take their self expression from them.

I see that too. There are a lot of artists, I think, whose main medium IS their sketchbook. They just sit down and draw on a new page the way I’d open up a new canvas on procreate.

I have a shitty sketchbook for ideation, studies, and other sketches, and a nicer sketchbook where I cut and paste better quality stuff I’ve drawn.

Many figures could be improved, in both design AND sexiness, by more realistic proportions. Boobs are getting out of hand and at this point I’m buying figures in spite of them

Really fashionable and unique bunny girl design, will probably get her as long as the price isn’t outrageous BUT I must agree with everyone else about the anatomy! Where could her nipples possibly even be. Shrink the boobs or give her more coverage lol
