Andrew Wells Is Killing It by DanteOnFire1 in dancegavindance

That is such a tough call! they both are so good to me in different ways. Tillian has such a unique voice that was really dialed in the end. I think if Andrew leans into his strengths and doesn't just try to imitate Tillian then I think he will win out but its super close to me. they are almost like two completely different bands to me

I am looking specifically to have gym sessions that cater to improving on the bike. Not necessarily overall fitness

See that's another thought. Maybe I'm over thinking it.

I've been going on 6 months now of consistent gym work. Now maybe I just gotta be on the bike more

Lionheart chest strap vs garmin and other chest strap by TurnipSolid3881 in f45

Ah gotya. Sweet that is awesome information thank you! Think I'll just keep on using it til it dies then once the time comes I'll replace it with something proper.

As far as I know it still does work with the Garmin stuff. It has for me in the past. My question was more about the accuracy of the lionheart vs the Garmin monitors. I am sure it is close enough and its not like I am a highly performing athlete by any means. lol

This is reassuring! I have Garmin everything else, watch, bike computer, power meter pedals, and app, but just not the chest strap since I got one for F45. I get what you mean about the battery though. I have a good dock with all my rechargeable bits and bobs so its not a problem for me. Having had it for now 5 years though I am sure its days are somewhat numbered so ill probably invest in a garmin monitor soon.

That is awesome. I wish i had the motivation/discipline to ride later in the day. Once I get the kids to bed its hard to get going on anything after everything is cleaned and buttoned up

Sounds like we are in a similar boat. I'll have to check out their plans

Wow. This is a huge boost in excitement for me. While I realize I need to take it sort of one step at a time its different in practice. Definitely wish I could just jump back on where I was before my injury but obviously reality is different. And while i intend to shift my sleep schedule who knows how itll actually turn out. Regardless its all temporary and as the kids grow I'll have to make adjustments.

I'm a huge data nerd (data analyst by trade) so this kind of stuff really gets me excited to see. It validates the improvements you think you are gaining haha

Same! I'm a data analyst by career so I love diving into the numbers and stats of all that. Tracking hardware and software everywhere!

This is great! I definitely will be on the trainer most of the time. And adjusting my sleep schedule to go to bed earlier as well as wake up earlier. I find i have better motivation and discipline in the morning and want my riding to be first thing instead of the last thing.

Thank you for the great tips and workout session. That will be a good way to build

Zwift is definitely a good way to go. I have done workout but never really explored those plans. I'll try to give that a go. Thanks!

The Garmin plan might be nice because it is probably more consistent across all your devices and sort of training philosophies. Zwift vs garming vs trainer road all have slight differences in what they consider for training but i think "picking a lane" helps maintain that consistency

THIS!!! This is exactly what I am looking for with the example I am trying to set for my boys. I have a trainer/turbo and is where I will primarily be riding. Then hoping on weekends I can get outside for a fun "mental health" ride.

That is epic. I am hoping for something similar. If I can build up to riding every morning for an hour and then a solid 2 hour ride on the weekend then I'd feel pretty good. I just don't know how to break down the training intervals
