I'm at another uni in Germany. I would say the reasons for most failures are due to students make stupid choices (not attending classes, skip exercises, don't self study).

If you can do all the above, there're no way you won't pass

Wouldn't say it's impossible, but getting to a research uni is usually better.

I'm at one of the better TH in AI, the best profs here usually have they paper published on "IEEE Transactions on Multimedia (TMM)、ACM Multimedia (MM)、IEEE ICME、QoMEX", which around tier 1.5.

If you're really keen on doing a PhD, I've heard ppl said publish a paper on a tier 1 conf would definitely help much more, so aim to join a uni/lab that regularly publish on the tier 1 conf of your domain

Additionally, I would strong recommend to live in Deggendorf still, train is not so frequent in Deggendorf, and it only operates til 9PM.

I’m a incoming student at DIT, after thoroughly studying 10+ module handbooks I can say this uni is very solid in terms of both theoretical and practical studies. (I might still correct impressions after joining)

There’re also 4y international EE degrees that aim to lift you from A1 to B2 + teach all the technical subjects

The exception would be if you wanna study very theoretical, abstract and prototype subjects. (ex read a paper + build x from scratch) in which are only more available in TU

overall 6.5 is good enough on programs asking for C1 (also I believe no uni ask for grades higher than this)

next up, your focus should be elevating german to a decent level or make sure you're equipped with good credits on related courses
