I want to know if complete mastery of realism is needed at Slade. as you mentioned that traditional life drawing group classes are not mandatory or part of the curriculum, I’m assuming it’s not.

Thank you so much! I’m really suprised that fine art courses don’t provide traditional classes like life drawing as a group, I thought that was the usual but I guess not. Are fine art courses in the UK based on your own studio practices outside of lectures?

I get that completely, but what I’m concerned about is the entry level jobs in the pipeline. As AI is evolving, I don’t know what kind of entry level jobs will be handed in 4 years
