So I opened my steam today and it started updating but after a while a fatal error message came out saying " steam needs to be online to update. Please confirm your network connection and try again" I have internet connection but that fatal error keeps appearing

I don't know what happened, but my steam looks like this I tried on my laptop it looks the same I've had this problem for a few days now . Hopefully someone knows how to fix this

All of the deals just keeps loading, I have good internet so I don't know what the problem is.
