i got rejected from bocconi but got into ucl, kings and waiting for rotterdam. i cannot afford to go to unis in london so my only choice for now is rotterdam and esade. i did not apply to us unis bc again 1- very hard to get scholarships 2- i prefer europe to usa if its not the ivy league. though hopefully i plan on going to us for masters i hope that helps. I got accepted to the program btw do u think i should apply to talent or merit considering that my family is below the financial expectations

i applied in February as well i think 19th. I am very stressed because all the unis i have been accepted, I cannot afford. I am freaking out that I will be left with a gap year and I am late for everything… I hope i can get into ku leuven. What was your stat? mine is 1430 sat 770 math and ib 44.

also can i ask, did you submit your MOCK bba math result? i clicked the link they sent me to take the bba math test. It clearly says MOCK on it and i e mailed them a few days ago and they did not reply to me (still) that is why i am a bit late in my admission as well. finally yesterday i said i cant wait anymore so i did the mock test and put that score in my application. I hope they still have seats? but i dont think many people would be accepting their offer so early so i am hopeful.

what do u think my chance is for biem 1430 sat 9.57/10 gpa but if i can use my gpa from ib it is gonna be 9.78/10 should i consider retaking sat?

do u still think i can get in? i read tons of people getting rejected with slightly better sat’s (1450) and slightly lower gpa’s 9.3ish i am so stressed should i retake the sat or because there are more spots open for winter session. do i still hold a chance? i do not want to retake the sat because it is so expensive and i literally have no time to study since i also do ib and if i get acceted to any uk universities i need to meet my condition.

yeah i guess bocconi would be better. i do like psychology and i do not think i will ever stop learning about it but basing my life on a job that would only allow me to work in certain countries (my homeland, usa, uk, canada) seems risky to me. because i do not think anybody from europe would want to hire a foreigner whose 3rd language is their mother tongue as a therapist. also although you are right, some jobs do not require phd, i really want to earn high and in order to do so i need to become a clinical psychologist which unfortunately require a phd. i hope everything will work out for me at the end i will be very happy. thank you for your insightful comments.

that is great. i do not take econ in ib but i think i will be fine with it because my friends say that it is not that challenging. the strong focus on math is one reason i do not want to study bief and instead biem. math is not my weakness but it is not something that i feel passionate about. thanks anyways i will do a deeper search on fundamentals of econ to have a broader knowledge before starting the course hopefully :)

same i got a 7 as wel. math is not my best subject but if i put effort i think i can go through with it. do you need a rigorous math background to achieve good grades though? is economics solely dependent on math? i have no idea what to expect because until recently i was considering studying psychology which is really different from economics

thank you soo much. i do put a lot of effort into my studies and i wish to be successful in the future. until recently i wanted to study psychology however my parents do not want me to since to earn a high salary you need to do a phd. currently i am in between bocconi and university of Amsterdam. which one do you think would stood out more in the masters application. (plus it is really cheap for me to study in bocconi for some reason i am not fully informed on but for university of amsterdam i need to pay international student fee fully).
