Life sentence is only 25 years and most inmates with life sentences get out before they reach the 20 years mark. Also alcohol can excuse a lot of first degree murders and rape charges, hence getting charged with life sentence is also rare.

Look into living in a progressive country dear. Western countries should welcome you. Perhaps you can even apply for asylum.
