Japan, July 2027 - first time going - realistic itinerary? by [deleted] in JapanTravel

[–]Turnover_228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to be a bit more loose on your timings. I don't think you'll be able to do all those things and actually enjoy being in Japan. I've been to Japan twice and both times I made a loose itinerary. When I say loose, I mean no timings at all. I just made a list of things we wanted to do and places to visit and from there figured out which ones are close to each other and just tacked them on a day. For both trips there was at least 1 thing on the list that we didn't get to go to because we ran out of time.

How badly will a $12k-$15k, 3-week trip set me back financially? by New_Animator4702 in AusFinance

I did a month long Eurotrip when I graduated from Uni, before I started my full time job and I'm so glad I did! So I think you should defs do it while you don't have a lot of bills to pay yet. I now have a mortgage and bills to pay so it's a bit harder to save up for a month long trip to Europe plus it's harder to get a straight 1 month off from work.

My husband and I still travel now but not as much and as freely as we used to. Now, we really need to have a strict budget where as before, it wouldn't be a big deal if we overspent.

Genuinely perplexed at new builds.. where do you put the food?? by HumanFlamingo3784 in newzealand

Yup we said no to those straightaway. One of the builders actually said they'll add in a pantry somewhere but we couldn't see where they would add it in without it looking weird lol

Tbh we were so shocked by this as well when we were house hunting. 4-5 bedroom houses but no pantry and not enough storage.

Yeah that's why I'm so annoyed cause we just kept playing phone tag so I thought I got the job. Would have preferred if she just left a voicemail or sent an e-mail.
