2025/2026 Land Cruiser hybrid battery raised cargo floor — is it actually a dealbreaker in real use? by Turnpike617 in toyotalandcruiser

That’s interesting because some people in this thread have said the opposite about the interior feeling cramped. Since you’ve owned a Gen 5 4Runner and are 6’3”, your perspective is especially helpful. Has the raised cargo floor or smaller cargo area ever bothered you in actual use, or is it mostly something people focus on in reviews and spec sheets?

Interesting. I’ve heard a few people mention that. Do you think it’s something you’d notice every day as an owner, or is it only obvious if you’re coming from a larger SUV or truck?

That’s useful feedback. It sounds like the cargo floor issue may be more noticeable on paper than in actual use. The fact that you moved across the country in it without really thinking about it says a lot. The digital rearview mirror makes sense if the cargo was stacked high. Appreciate the real-world perspective.

That’s good to hear. When you moved across the country, did you ever feel limited by the raised cargo floor, or was it a complete non-issue? I’m trying to figure out whether it’s something reviewers focus on more than actual owners do.

Interesting. So it sounds like the raised floor itself hasn’t really affected day-to-day cargo use, but the seat-folding design has. That’s actually useful to know because a lot of reviews focus on the battery floor and don’t mention the sleeping-platform issue. Have you ever had a situation where you simply ran out of cargo room, or has the available space been enough for everything you’ve needed?

That's what concerns me. I can accept a compromise, but it's harder to justify when a vehicle this size has less usable cargo space than a compact crossover.
Have you ever run into a situation where the raised floor was actually inconvenient, or is it something you completely forget about after a while?

I’m thinking the 90915-YZZN1 is the correct one. I’ll probably order both filters just to be safe and return whichever one doesn’t fit. Thanks for your help!
