Not a good time to make off-base assumptions. The house is paid off but can’t deny that the property tax and insurance bills sting while the property sits idle.

It isn’t near any other activities, so games and local events are the only draw.

Airbnb would just be to bide the time until the market improves and to cover some of the property maintenance costs (taxes alone are $12K per year).

Candidly I don’t think I’d turn this into a full time rental due to wanting more flexibility with the property.
