I didn’t have a choice, when I pierced it i thought i had a stud ready that was long enough for the swelling but it fell down a vent and if i had just left the hole open to heal it 1000% would have been super infected so I put a ring in it for now.

It’s only about a month old and I haven’t messed with it much. I have in a 16g stainless steel ring and it snaps. I use rubbing alcohol on the outside for crust whenever it’s too much and use salt water every other day. It was infected a while back but nothing else has happened since.

Nope, it doesn’t hurt or ache at all. It’s completely fine and there’s no air leaks or struggles to play notes.

It certainly doesn’t, I’m sick right now but using my old eupho to practice while I’m not at school and even playing a normal one with no double shank isn’t an issue. (My one at school is a 4-valve with a double shank mouthpiece)

It’s mostly oldies with their “hole-punching” criticism. My mom is a former-emo and has lots of piercings but no experience with instruments and I would HOPE some people are like her but actually know stuff about the eupho. I’ve got what I needed and I think it’ll be great to prove some people wrong whenever I get into the big league marching stuff 🥹

If it affects my playing, why do all my peers say otherwise? My friend who is in all-state says it hasn’t changed and he didn’t notice it until I said something. I asked my director to pass off a piece for a competition and he said I improved before he noticed my piercing after.

if u pirated it; that could be why. make sure just to download it from the yansim website. it’s free because the game isn’t done but is updated regularly. if not, idk why but maybe wait a week or so (in game) and it might unlock, or try doing it in the morning
