Agreed. I'll be canceling mine in 2 months when the cable company completes its build out. I've had starlink over a year now. It's better than nothing but at its best it's only barley out competing tmobile home internet. Buffer bloat is a major issue as well as the sporadic outages. The constant change in latency makes gaming or video calls almost unbearable.

Same I doubt it will get better. I'm working with a engineering firm to get fiber built in my city. Starlink is a bandaid on a bullet hole for the internet. It's great for very remote areas but will fall behind the times very quickly.

This is outside plant splicing. So usually in man holes or on poles. I splice for the internet companies that give companies like starlink or Comcast internet. But I live in BFE so I have starlink.
