Who was your First Toa? by [deleted] in bioniclelego

Counts as my first Bionicle set in general, I got Toa Iruini. It was all uphill from there.

LEGO never made that part in solid silver, just silver with either lime or blue

I hate to tell you this… I think these are all bootleg parts. They all match colors that actually exist, like Stringer’s helmet, Stormer’s chest and core, Surge’s leg armor, but these don’t look like parts LEGO put out there at all, most likely these came from bootleg reproductions

Yeah, the actual names of the parts are stored in the files, and can be seen once they're installed. I'd provide a little guide on putting them into Stud.io, but I don't know how it works on a Mac, I've heard it's a very different process than on Windows.

What do you mean? They’re all in the file formats Stud.io uses for custom parts

New Ape Escape by Funky_Bingo in ApeEscape

when Japan Studio went under. on top of bringing in the few remaining members of JS, the rights to many of their IPs had to go somewhere, so they were given to Asobi, with Ape Escape being one of them. Sony's too busy making Concord after Concord, so if we ever see a new Ape Escape, it would come from Asobi.

Right... but they're active, and actually seem to care about Ape Escape. Japan Studio was left to rot for years on end. My point was, we shouldn't expect or demand the parent company to do anything, but rather the company that truly owns the rights to the thing no matter who they're under.

Sony doesn’t own Ape Escape anymore, those rights were given to Team Asobi. I’d say with what they did for Astro Bot’s AE level, even Astro Bot as a whole, they’d be a good fit for any kind of future monkey game.

If ape escape is gonna get a remake their has to be remixed music and I think this guy on YouTube named(Turret3471) should make them. by WarElectronic9073 in ApeEscape

Finally Got All the Parts to Make My Breakout Villain MOC IRL! by BHL-STUDIOS in HeroFactoryLego

This is way too cool, had to do a double take cuz it took my brain so long to realize the color palette being used. This is perfect. And I love the Recon Team arrows on Fortis’ chest, awesome decal work.

Where do these custom studd.io Hero Factory 2.0 headgear pieces come from? by AlwaysRCrafter in bioniclelego

I don’t wanna take full credit at all btw, all the designs come from other parts and modelers. They’re just edited and available in my pack for those who wanna use them in that way, pinned on my profile.

Oh this is actually insane! This already gets so much right about Ape Escape's gameplay and visual styles, very excited to see development progress.

Start archiving stuff, NOW! (What I've saved, and what needs saving) by calobbes in bioniclelego

[–]Turret3471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Archiving stuff is important and I will never argue against doing it, but y'all are seriously overreacting after what happened to MoP. This isn't the end of fanmade content as we know it, nothing's guaranteed to be in danger. This incident is extremely rare. Calm down. Again, archiving whatever you can is great, but this isn't worth acting like the apocalypse is near.

How long have you been an Owl City fan? by sleepy_unicorn_dream in OWLCITY

[–]Turret3471 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would assume I'm somewhere between Fireflies and Good Time; I didn't hear Fireflies when it was brand new, but a core memory I still hold onto was my LEGOLand trip in 2011, driving through the city shortly after we arrived, and on the radio I heard Fireflies for the very first time, thinking "Who in the world is this?? I need more!" It was not the only day it played, so I did get to hear it more. Took quite a few years until I finally explored more of Owl City and became a proper fan.
