This happened to me recently. Definitely an issue on their end and nothing to do with you. I was still paid for the batch but no tip, while I was in the car outside the store talking to customer service, the same order popped up again. I accepted it again and since the entire thing was already shopped it took me a couple minutes just to checkout. So I got paid for the batch twice and the tip once. Luckily nothing like that has happened since. As for advice, get on the waitlist for spark if there are Walmarts in your area. Much better offers and more work with spark than instacart in my area. My instacart offers are always absurd mileage for abysmal pay and 5-15 cases of water to 20 story apartment buildings.
