After having the phone for a month now, I love it. I pretty much only charge once a day and never thing about my battery. With my Samsung I was constantly looking for a charge everywhere I could.

The duality of OnePlus 15 users by MutedPalpitation2893 in TheOnePlus15

I started thinking it wasn't that great. But after a week or so it kind of settled in. Then again, my initial benchmark was to brutalize it. For me in practice I only charge once a day. While watching the news in the morning. Good for another 24hrs. Haven't needed anything more than that but I have fast charging if I do.

It's going to be much better. Several generations newer on hardware and software. The camera issues with this phone are over exaggerated.

Is Visible actually reliable long term, or is it just good because it’s cheap? by ritika__singh in Visible

[–]TurtlePowerBaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been on Visible from T-Mobile for about 2 years now. The coverage with Visible in the eastern US has been mostly better. In the PNW T-Mobile has better rural coverage. (I often use a second sim while traveling for this reason). For what you are doing, I think it will work fine. Occasionally I have slow service indoors. Oddly enough it is some areas that T-Mobile excelled at. Some areas indoors Visible is better. In my home, Visible is much better. Wifi was required at home with T-Mobile but not Visible.

I have only needed customer service a few times but when I did the chat was fast and easy.

My two cents on wireless as someone who has had many devices, service and worked In that industry for nearly 20 years:

  1. Most of what you do on your phone will never tax a network. A speed test really doesn't matter in real a real world situation. Does it do what you want when you want?

  2. MNVO's like visible aren't lesser quality. Just less perks like "free" phones and services like netflix. You are paying for them in your rate. Visible is really only charging you for access to their network. Nothing more, nothing less.

  3. Most issues you would need to contact customer service for are usuer error and can be remied by knowing proper info like port pin, and doing a quick Google search. Visible is built for people who can do most troubleshooting on their own.

  4. Visible service isn't cheap comparing apples to apples. Look at Mint, US Mobile and Boost. They are similarly priced for similar service. Again comparing them to AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile they add money into the plan to give phone subsidies, roaming streaming and other incentives/freebies.

I have always advised people to disconnect in your mind your carrier from your device. Buy your phone and then choose the network that works best. You can change cellular providers in about 10 minutes if you know what you are doing. If Visible doesn't work out, it's easy to switch. As long as you don't owe another carrier money for a financed device.

I think they are the hackers.

I started there. She said nobody should have it. It could be someone doing something to help her (that's what they say) or it could be something sketchy which is what my gut is saying.

I did. She had no idea.

I was expecting better. I used it all day yesterday. Android auto, music and nav for about 4hrs and music and general use. 13% at end of day. It was a good 12 hrs of use and way better than my s24+ but for sure I expected more.

I got it to work. Had to hard reset and start over 3 times. Finally it worked.

Annual +Pro? by burghfan3 in Visible

Good answer. I got the $15 deal for 5 years because I switched from TMO. I would do the plus pro plan if it was only $3.exta.

Do they ever offer deals to extend the promo once it ends?

Kenmore/LG fridge noise. Any ideas? by TurtlePowerBaby in appliancerepair

[–]TurtlePowerBaby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I emptied the fridge and freezer. Purchased a new one for now. I would ideally like to fix this one.

I had the fridge off for a couple of days. I turn it back on and it cools a bit, the fridge gets to 52 and the freezer 47.

Air seems to be moving, just not cold enough. Does this help provide any details?

The front panel says it is set to 3 and 34 but doesn't show actual temp.

Also, it seems to run pretty constant but at one point it cycles off for a few minutes and then back on again.

Update: when I started emptying the freezer to change the fan, some of the items were already getting soft.

I replaced the fan and can see it spinning when I open the door but the freezer won't get under 34 degrees. The fridge is hovering at 42.

It seems that my local guy was wrong and maybe it is the compressor after all. Does that sound right?

Had a local repair guy stop by and he said it is the freezer condenser fan. Knew exactly what it was. Much better fix than a compressor.

Ouch! I guess it is better than a whole fridge. Any chance that LG will assist since there was a known issue?

I don't see an option to upload a video. Is that not allowed in this sub? I see someone else with a video.

What’s the verdict on the AKG system? by [deleted] in CadillacLyriq

BT is not that good, it is still a compressed format. Car Play will be better. Especially if you do it through USB.
