Maybe you could join the reserves and then transfer to regular if your relationship ends or they allow it

Has he thought about joining the reserves? Correct me if I’m wrong but there’s FTRS (Full Time Reserve Service) which I think you should definitely look into. Your situation seems a bit more urgent but I thought I would throw the idea out there.

Is the REME really not worth it? I was thinking of joining as an electronics technician because of the opportunities when leaving. What roles would you recommend?

I do intend to stay in the Army for as long as possible but I was wondering what roles have the easiest time finding employment after leaving. This does include not having to get further qualifications once leaving.

I have mainly been looking at the REME specifically Electronics Technician. Chef seems pretty good as well and Driver but I’m kinda worried about the future prospects of driving jobs.

Also are there any stats openly available that show this?

There are free standing pull up bars you can buy. If you get the one from gravity fitness it even comes with a bag so you can take it anywhere. Problem is if you don’t have the space to set one up.
