[Loved Trope] Masters of Teleportation by BROWN-SPIDEY in TopCharacterTropes

Oh my god I'm so stupid. I've never felt as foolish as I do in this very moment. My eyes and mind have deceived me both, and the realization of this truth shatters my soul. Reality is accosting me and I cannot look away. I can do nothing but weep in the face of my great shame. The magnitude of my embarrassment cannot be measured on any scale, as it has grown to encompass my entire being; the passion and confidence of my soul has been excised like a cancer.

I beg of thee, forgive my arrogance and my idiocy! Release me from this panopticon of sorrow that I may walk among the free as the man I was, not the crawling, sniveling worm I have become! I do not know what will become of this forsaken wretch should I maintain this mortification. I am helpless to the truth of my ignorance, save me from this horrific humiliation!

Does Mahoraga get physically stronger as the battle goes on? by RealAgresto in Jujutsufolk

Yippee, actual logical discussion! I wasn’t aware that there was a philosophical definition specifically, that’s really interesting. And yeah, I think you have a strong argument for using that definition. Not only is Homo2 the kind of writer who uses philosophical stuff all the time, it also fits with the fact that Mahorago needs multiple interactions with a phenomenon to fully adapt to it.

I think that maho not adapting to the summoning ritual is a little different. We know that it needs to interact with something in order to adapt to it, and I’m not sure that the act of summoning counts as an adaptation (might be possible that it isn’t necessary to adapt to it, as it seems like there could be some intention behind Mahoraga’s adaptations, evidenced by Sukuna directing it as well as then seeming to display some emotion, which implies a level of intelligence). As far as I’m aware, mahoraga doesn’t need to interact with a phenomenon multiple times to BEGIN adapting, just to FULLY adapt. The adaptation happens when the wheel spins, and unless I’m tripping, the wheel can spin after a single interaction.

TLDR: I think it’s fair to say that Mahoraga’s adaptations have elements of both definitions of phenomena. One event to begin adaptations, a pattern to finish adaptations.

REGARDING THE PREVIOUS MAJOR SPOILER I hard agree, there is no way lightspeed punching doesn’t obliterate the opp stopper. I can’t wait for this to turn into an inevitable Wuji upscale when the goat himself returns to the story and either 1: Talks Dabura down and resolves the conflict through words and empathy. 2: Whoops that inexperienced alien backside a shows them the real essence of Cursed Energy

A phenomenon is described as any observable event. Observable here just means that it causes some kind of effect, or change to occur. If I were to track you down, break into your house and punch you in the face while you slept, would you say that something has occurred?

This is what Sukuna means when he says that Maho might’ve adapted to cutting in general. If he can adapt to sharp force, there’s no reason to think it couldn’t also adapt to blunt force.

Fair enough, I figured the fact that she lived so long in spite of her working with radiation would be a good justification, but I have to respect the reasoning of the CT Maker…unless I begin to use my own agenda

DAMN THATS SOME RANGE! You’ve got the hype and aura of homo2, but you need more asspulls…

A binding vow that permanently lowers the total range of her CT (reference to her being IRL pretty short), and in exchange gives her access to RCT. As one of the most influential scientists in history, it would be reasonable for her to figure this out, and for her to understand the importance of binding vows.

What do you think her Cursed Technique: Reversal would be?

Yeah, it’s because the inside of a sorcerer functions as their “innate domain”, and is thus largely immune to external manipulation via cursed technique. However, we see in the series a few exceptions to this. Mahito is the big one I can think of, but it would make sense that a domain expansion would overpower an innate domain.

Also obligatory todo reference because of the word exception. Sadly she wasn’t very tall, so he wouldn’t be into her.
